A score worthy of a Halloween massacre: Falcons 34 Panthers 6
-
Apathy is not the right word. More like frustration from a lot of places: 1. Losing in general 2. Injuries to the players we need the most. CMC especially. Can't catch a break here. 3. Darnold regressing far more than expected. However, see 4. 4. A franchise that hasn't fully comprehended in ages that the foundation of the offense are the Uglies. A bad one will make the entire unit worse and evaluation difficult. 5. A fanbase that throws out cliched complaints and farfatched solutions (although this is universal across all fanbases). 6. An owner who (supposedly) wanted to pursue an option that would've been the dumbest thing this franchise has ever done, both from a PR standpoint and the insane asking price that would've torpedoed this franchise for years. I'm taking my own advice and only taking occasional glances at what is going on. I can't get too upset about something I ultimately have no control over.

Official Panthers at Giants please God let us win GameDay thread

I didn't really keep tabs on this game. Best decision I made, looks like. Yikes. -
Denver couldn't stop the run at all tonight. Awful.
-
I just want the Browns to not give the Broncos another chance so I don't have to see death by a billion Teddy two yard passes.
-
Watching Teddy right now...
-
I would be utterly embarrased on those two Broncos defenders who couldn't take down Case Keenum.
-
Teddy touchdown thanks to terrible tackling.
-
Didn't even last a minute. Whoops.
-
No point stating the obvious but I'm quite envious of both QBs getting competent protection.
-
Wasn't the Denver defense also highly ranked early? Injuries, sounds like.
-
Textbook third down Teddy throw.
-
It's easy to be enthusiastic when they look at our O-line and realize they are only costumed as one.
-
I also had an epiphany. We need better indicators on a thread so I don't go into one and step on a big pile of poo.
-
They said they wanted to treat Darnold like a rookie. Our draft picks have predominantly been on the defense. Questions were raised about the O-line's ability to protect. I don't quite get hearing this now instead of the beginning of the season. As for the vastly different look, prove it on the field. Something different, even if it doesn't quite work, at least shows effort.

We gave up 571 yards to the Minnesota Vikings

We have some nice defensive pieces but the performance is all over the place. Doesn't help that we have injuries in the thinner positions. Regardless, for all the investment on this side, we are not getting the returns. -
Top 3 things you like and dislike after a 3-3 start.

Team isn't giving us that many reason to love at the moment. -
is darnold worse than teddy was?
outlaw4 replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would say Darnold's performance range is wider than Teddy's, for better or worse. Whether Teddy could've done better today, ehhh.... So what do Broncos say about Teddy? -
I've been watching this team long enough to not get too emotionally invested. Second year with a new staff, awful O-line, injuries to key positions, etc. Though we were still at least a year away when the season started and it's starting to look that way, unfortunately.
-
Too much Jets Darnold but the offense around him are playing at Jets quality.
-
That's it. Tepper, Sign Cam or Trade for Watson.

Huddle clamoring for a QB with no arm whatsover and a QB we have to give up way too much to be on an exempt list for who knows how long. -
Starting O-line tomorrow is Erving/Daley/Paradis/Miller/Moton

Darnold looks safer behind those bowls of fruit. -
I don't lump either with Midwesterners.
-
Probably a Midwest thing. I do give them more leeway because they gave the Saints two devastating losses in the playoffs. That's no small favor.

Loss to Eagles worst halftime lead squandered since Nov 2016
outlaw4 replied to KB_fan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I almost forgot about that 2016 Chiefs game and so against my own wisdom, I looked it up. That was when Kelvin Benjamin fumbled on the first play of the final drive with only 30 seconds left on the clock which led to the game losing FG. And before that, Cam throwing a pick six. Can't lie. That loss was just as brutal.
