Not used to seeing 50+ yard field goals being missed nowadays.

I remember him getting arrested. Same year that Dwayne the Lame Jarrett was busted for DWI, I think. Also same season we had Otah who had a promising rookie season before it all fell apart.

I still remember David Foucault.

Bryce Young - High Ankle Sprain, out minimum 1 week

At least it's not a tear but of course our starting QB goes down on the very game we finally have a winning record. It's like clockwork with this franchise. Well, based on prior results, Dalton has one game in him and that's about it. -
People here wanted Weinke to start over Delhomme because he threw for over 400 yards but had 3 interceptions and it took 61 pass attempts. If there's any hope for Fields, it's that he is playing for a godawful team and we've seen guys like Darnold and Geno do better elsewhere. But he needs to be with a much more competent team. Whether one will take him in... That Geno Smith turnaround is turning back straight into the ground with his Raiders stint.

Getting both Hunt and Lewis was not the wrong move. But it's Panthers tradition that we're not allowed to have nice things. I think that was our 5th or 6th different O-line combination this season, and that's not sustainable.

49ers offense: McCafrrey, McCafrrey, and McCafrrey.

K-ball procedures changed. It's basically making these long field goals easier. And even so, he just made that one.

I'd just like to be able to get through a week without losing key players, is all.

Legette was a difference maker today. if that gives him a boost of confidence that makes him more productive going forward, is anyone going to complain? I won't.

Wow, the Giants absolutely blew that game. The Broncos scored 33 points in the fourth quarter? What?

Zero point using up valuable draft picks. Panthers made their bed on Dalton. Gotta sleep on it.

Typical ugly Panthers win against a terrible opponent and possibly a costly one... but it's a winning record. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I just don't think this O-line is capable of protecting long enough to take constant deep shots. You could have your dream QB back there and it wouldn't matter because he'll just get sacked - or taken out like Burrow - or he'll have to scramble out of there. I feel a lot of other teams are in a similar boat which is why even guys like Josh Allen are going with a lot more shorter passes nowadays.

I have not been impressed with our pass blocking since at least 2022. Still remember watching Darnold live against the Seahawks when we were dominating them in the run game and we still allowed far too much pressure on him regardless. It has not gotten much better since. In fairness to this year's unit, they have been hit by injuries. Oftentimes, even a mediocre overall unit is better than a stacked one if the former stays healthy throughout the entire season. Constant shuffling only means a much greater likelihood someone will blow their assignment and that's all it takes for a sack or worse.

I'm most surprised the Bengals O-line protected Flacco well enough. Then again, there was that stat that Tomlin's Steelers have a godawful record on Thursday night.

Dayum, someone really must have laced that IcyHot.

Joe still has some legs left!

Someone must be calling Vinny Testaverde and seeing if he can come back one last time.

That throw was not pretty by Rodgers.
-
Oh, look. The Bengals are trying to make a game out of this with statue Flacco.

Bengals running game.... no.
