  1. How will they find a way to keep Luke out this time? It shouldn't even be a discussion but I fear they'll find a way. Unless the rules changes, I don't think anyone else will get in.
  2. If they want to be petty, they could just retweet this. Nothing else needs to be said.
  3. Live view from outside MetLife Stadium...
  4. Ryans is blaming his kicker for not kicking it out of bounds to have the two minute warning timeout. Noting it because calling out your players publicly like that tends to not be a good indicator on keeping one's job in the long term. I don't regret drafting CMC. Problem was that we needed him earlier when Cam was in his prime. Instead, he came in once Cam already had his infamous shoulder injury and was already regressing.
  5. Oh, good grief. Another blunder to add to the many blunders in this game tonight. And the game is finished by another blunder.
  6. Incredibly, the Texans may still win this.
  7. The Texans are trying their hardest to give Stroud the Jets Darnold treatment. And Darnold is trying his hardest to show that he's still Sam Darnold.
  8. Ah, there's the Sam Darnold we know!
  9. Will a Seattle team let its fans down a second time tonight? Let's find out!
  10. We protected Cam Newton with these two. If PFF was around then, they might've had a zero in pass protection when they allowed nine sacks against the Eagles in 2014. If you add two of our guards from our 2023 season, that may be the all-dud of offensive lines.
  11. Is it just me or is every team losing players left and right?
  12. And that's technically an improvement from when we'd get negative yards when we tried short stuff like that. But we still have a long way to go. Example: Gibbs taking that little dump off and getting a chunk of yards. Next play, touchdown.
  13. Not used to seeing 50+ yard field goals being missed nowadays.
  14. I remember him getting arrested. Same year that Dwayne the Lame Jarrett was busted for DWI, I think. Also same season we had Otah who had a promising rookie season before it all fell apart.
  15. Not until we're playing a game that matters in February. In fairness, current Bills and Ravens still haven't done that yet. But to be more realistic, we have to be the best team in the division. Even if we had everyone back and healthy, we're not there yet.
  16. At least it's not a tear but of course our starting QB goes down on the very game we finally have a winning record. It's like clockwork with this franchise. Well, based on prior results, Dalton has one game in him and that's about it.
  17. People here wanted Weinke to start over Delhomme because he threw for over 400 yards but had 3 interceptions and it took 61 pass attempts. If there's any hope for Fields, it's that he is playing for a godawful team and we've seen guys like Darnold and Geno do better elsewhere. But he needs to be with a much more competent team. Whether one will take him in... That Geno Smith turnaround is turning back straight into the ground with his Raiders stint.
  18. Getting both Hunt and Lewis was not the wrong move. But it's Panthers tradition that we're not allowed to have nice things. I think that was our 5th or 6th different O-line combination this season, and that's not sustainable.
  19. 49ers offense: McCafrrey, McCafrrey, and McCafrrey.
  20. K-ball procedures changed. It's basically making these long field goals easier. And even so, he just made that one.
  21. I'd just like to be able to get through a week without losing key players, is all.
  22. Legette was a difference maker today. if that gives him a boost of confidence that makes him more productive going forward, is anyone going to complain? I won't.
  23. Wow, the Giants absolutely blew that game. The Broncos scored 33 points in the fourth quarter? What?
  24. Canales is back to calling questionable pass plays when we really should be running it. He tries being too cute sometimes and it kills drives.
