  1. This game could get ugly fast for the Raiders.
  2. Not sure why Rhule would even divulge this information, especially if it's only going to make himself look even worse. Then again, self-sabotage is a theme around here.
  3. If you told me I suddenly transformed into Matt Rhule, the first question is how do I reverse that immediately. Otherwise, I'd do the franchise a favor and go back to a college program and allow someone else to make those decisions.
  4. Normally try not to hit below the belt but... Matt Rhule's next strategic move is to grab everyone's food from the refrigerator claiming it needs cleaning out for the offseason.
  5. Chargers keep finding ways to have potential franchise QBs on their roster... and yet find ways to lose in devastating fashion.
  6. Respect to the Raiders. You always want to beat your division rival.
  7. Chargers may have landed Herbert but nothing has changed about them. They always find a way to screw up.
  8. That type of stipulation makes no sense. You're telling me that Tepper will fire Rhule if the hire is not to his liking, which likely means having to find a new head coach well after everyone else has made their hires or make the new OC the new head coach by default? I really hope this is false because the very idea is incredibly foolish.
  9. Honestly, it would be in Darnold's best interests - and health - to facilitate a trade elsewhere because staying here is going to sink whatever career he has left.
  10. Well... that's a bad sign for the Rams is they are hoping Stafford is going to carry them through the playoffs.
  11. An ugly way to end what ended up as an ugly season. And to think our owner thinks doing this again next season is a good idea.
  12. Probably playing nice. But he's also seeing that our offense does not give anyone behind center much of a chance.
  13. To think we put so much effort on our defense and they do this.
  14. Did I just see one of our players take out another on that return?
  15. I'm shocked there's a worse team than us. We can't even win that.
  16. Because our players don't qualify as passers. They're tackling dummies for the opposition.
  17. The Wonderlic is like standardized testing; a way to quantify something that isn't really quantifiable.
  18. I hope someone puts together a lowlight reel of our offensive line this season with appropriately themed music.
  19. If we're going to be their tune up game, the Bucs will be misfiring on all cylinders when they have to face an actual opponent. I think that's worth taking a massive L.
  20. Until we actually do it, I call horse manure on that statement.
  21. Would Cam be willing to take that type of role now? I don't believe he was back when we released him. Cam thought he was still starter material and wanted an extension. With the Patriots, he learned the hard way that he was no longer the player he once was. I would like to think he finally understands that he can only do so much with his legs and arms and can only play within his limits which will only narrow from now on. Unfortunately, too many around here can't see that yet. It's fair to criticise his play but the vitriol thrown against Sam has gotten far too out of hand. Ultimately, the people who are making the decisions have responsibility. They pulled the trigger, overcompensated and worst of all, are sabotaging their own plan by continuing throwing Sam out into the very same environment that made his Jets career a failure instead of letting a more experienced QB like Cam try to manage this disaster.
  22. The one thing that has been effective in neutralizing Tom Brady throughout the years has been pressure right up the middle. Even the master of getting rid of the ball quickly has crumbled with linemen right at his face. Of course, only certain teams have had the personnel to do this against him and wouldn't you know it, he played like crap against the Saints and had no answer to it. So imagine a scenario where Brady will have that type of pressure every week. Actually, you don't have to imagine it because our offensive line creates that very scenario by being rusty doors hanging by a hinge that blows open with a gust of wind. The years of professional malpractice on building the line has bore its rotten fruit and it's whatever sacrificial lamb that has to stand behind it who has to eat it.
