Wonder if the Bengals fan forum wants to cut McPherson right now.

Turnovers like that is we we'll need ourselves against the Bengals.

Replacing Piñeiro would make more sense had he already been missing field goals this season. Instead, he has been one of the few reliable pieces this season. While it's infuriating he missed twice yesterday, the better option is to wait and see if this starts becoming a trend for him. And tossing people at the first misstep is beyond absurd. That's not accountability. It's allowing emotions to dictate decisions. Try applying that logic to all kickers in the league and even Justin Tucker will be changing teams every other week trying to reach an unrealistic expectation of perfection or you're fired.

I'm going to be overly cautious with Wilks because there has been plenty of history where interim HCs have looked better at the start only to fall down to earth after a few games.

DJ Moore should not have been penalized for helmet removal
outlaw4 replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
No consistency with the rule. Not surprised it was called given how officiating was yesterday. Personally, I would've been far more upset if DJ dropped the pass. -
And it was Heinecke who led that charge for the Ron Riveras.

PJ certainly has an arm and that will likely provide some level of job security. At least he's done more than what Mayfield had shown all season.

Can't say I'm surprised. It's easier to be a kicker when the team is bad and expectations are low. I guess next kicker up because once they have a game like this with any team, they usually need a change in environment.

Really wanted the Jags to win. At this rate, they'll be hunting for another QB in the draft as well. Great.

30 Oct 2005 Steve Smith wears out

Smitty destroyed Smoot and I believe we also destroyed Culpepper's knee that day. A game so well offensively that both Mangum and Colbert got TDs. -
That was a very nice pass. No doubt about that. The time management in that drive was pretty bad, though. Not sure what was going on. It's always harder to judge QB play when the team around them is stacked. Definitely need to see more.

Personally, the game says more about Harrison Jr than Stroud. Oh, and Tuimoluau. Holy moley.

Being in a high profile relationship that long only makes it more complicated. I'm not really wanting to know the details, though. At least there's a connection to be made between that and Brady's performance. Here's the thing. Still hard to be certain how much of that bad play is Father Time and how much that is a divorce wrecking someone's mental mindset, one of Brady's greatest assets. That's why the next few games are going to be very informative.

Wouldn't surprise me if Brady flips a switch and carries the Bucs into another deep playoff run. Also just as likely he continues struggling as he has been. Regardless, not sure how even another Lombardi is worth the price of breaking up a family. Unless he secretly wanted out. One never knows.

I've seen big o-linemen run faster than Brady.

You have moments of vintage Brady... and then a ball chucked to the ground.

This game so far is what I thought our game was going to be like.

All eyes on Brady on whether he'll have the unthinkable, a bad stretch of games. If so, then the joke will be that Brady finally lost not to Father Time but to the wife.

Today is the Panthers' 29th birthday. Celebrate with a GIF

I can't stop laughing at the thought of forgetting to take Rhule off the invite list and so he shows up with cake: -
Inside the Carolina Panthers' three seasons of quarterback failure
outlaw4 replied to Vox's topic in Carolina Panthers
Good read. There is still one item the article hadn't cleared. Seemed that Rhule was enamoured with Darnold and was the one that wanted him the most. But what about Watson? There were tons of rumors that Tepper was the driving force behind that push and to this day, the thought scares me. This is purely hypothetical but had we gotten Watson, then Rhule would likely still be gone by now, we'd be in utter shambles draft-wise and cap-wise and I could see Watson creating a firestorm right now wanting to be traded out of here before the deadline despite not playing a single down. -
8 of our 10 remaining games are winnable.
outlaw4 replied to thunderraiden's topic in Carolina Panthers
Even though Rhule is gone, I very much feel the 17+ points and we lose stat still applies. I want to say Denver is the most winnable but that's assuming Hackett makes it that far. -
PJ got the highest PFF grade for a qb so far this year
outlaw4 replied to uncfan888's topic in Carolina Panthers
From what I saw, Bucs played mostly zone and PJ fit some throws into just the right spots. One-off moments or whatnot, who knows? Have to give the man credit for great execution. It is still worth pointing out, however, that our offense remains quite stagnant. That first TD didn't come until the end of the second half and the second well into the third quarter. Also haven't forgotten that Wilks went for a punt rather than kicking a field goal. Feels like we're right back to the John Fox days back when we had Rodney Peete. Wasn't following the team back then so might not be right on point with that comparison. -
Oh my god! They picked Kenny! You dummy!

I love how just every single damn time anyone talks about our game, they only bother to show the dropped deep pass as though that's the only thing that happened.
