I know that getting too far into college ball on this forum is a no no, but... Have you seen the pirates? We're on our 3rd sting QB and have lost to UConn AND South Florida. Thank Gaaawd for some 8-0 Panthers.

They don't really have a lot to lose in this game. All NFL games matter, but it's a little like when my pirates play against the gamecocks. Ticker tape parade if we win, but loss is expected and doesn't ruin your day.

In an ideal situation, the same. The line is initially established based on who is actually favored to win. After that it is adjusted as bets come in, in order to get equal bets on each side. So, if too many bets come in for one team, they adjust the point spread up to draw more betters to the underdog, and vice versa. That way, once there is equal money on each side, one side pays the other, and Vegas keeps their 10(ish)%.

I'm really more worried about the receivers that aren't TY. We haven't really played any teams with more than one good receiver. Evans/Jackson is a decent combo if the QB doesn't suck, but TY/Moncrief/Johnson combo will show how good our secondary really is as a whole.

We usually wear the alternate blue against any team that has a white primary jersey (ah la Cowboys), but I'm worried that it won't be all blue after looking at the Cowboys colors in that ad. It looks like their Thanksgiving jerseys are primarily blue, or at least two-toned blue and white. We shall see. The website definitely still says blue jerseys on the calendar...

I think his kid is just tired of watching him lose in his final year. But while we're talking pride, no way Gettleman picks up the phone. Bringing back Smitty on a trade pretty much means that he made the wrong call last year. PS: There has to be something to all the talk about Smitty not being a good mentor. That or the Panthers, and now the Ravens, just had a way of striking out on receivers.

Moreover, it's not a trap game when the other team is currently 6th in the NFC. Trap game = Detroit/Chicago

I'm so confused now. Was pretty certain that the Saints were bad at footballing. Now I'm thinking that maybe the NFC East is just terrible.
