  1. This leaves Dionte as our only realistic franchise tag player at the end of the year. Gives us some flexibility there.
  2. I chose Worthy for our first pick. Dionte is getting older and no guarantee he or Theilen are Panthers beyond 2024. Those two are good WRs to watch and learn from for a slot guy like Worthy. I think there will still be some good X options after round 2. Also wouldn’t mind XLegette early paired with Jacob Cowing or Malik Washington in later rounds.
  3. Or strong feelings for multiple players available at your pick. Don’t drop back far and make sure you get one of them. Teams give up some stupid hauls when you hold a valuable pick.
  4. I hope the Chargers draft Nabers or Harrison Jr and we can pick up Palmer for cheap. Palmer is a solid WR2 option at only 24 yo, and I think his market value would be cheap for the production he'd bring.
  5. He has no guaranteed $ in his contract beyond 2024, so why not if you're the Texans and think you can make a run next year.
  6. Re: LBs… I hope NFL draft rooms sleep on James Williams from Miami like mock drafts I’ve seen. Get this guy in the 3rd/4th and put him in Luvu’s role. I don’t know what kind of person he is, but on the field he’s a bully.
  7. That’s your version of what’s being implied. Mine is he’s working with a second year QB he’s never worked with before, so he’s going to throw a lot at him to see what he does best. He’s getting to know his new QB. Nothing more, nothing less.
  8. You’d rather him tell everyone which route concepts they’re going to emphasize?
  9. Agree that we may not be able to get a 3rd, but I’d jump on it if offered. Especially if we’ve already drafted Legette who I view as a similar player but better.
  10. If we draft Legette with one of our second rounds picks, I’d try to trade Mingo for a 3rd.
  11. Cool site. I like what it can become in a couple years. The comparisons seemed heavily skewed to 2023-2024 draft prospects.
  12. I’ve seen plenty of catches from Worthy that aren’t body catches. I’ve seen plenty of explosive plays from Worthy that display his speed. Only concerning thing is size. With that said, I think I’d prefer Legette but it’s close. I’m good with either.
  13. Yea, a throw leading Mingo there is out of bounds. Mingo should throttle down and prepare to make a sideline catch keeping his feet in bounds. He didn’t, but he was a rookie. It’s not the end of the world as long as he learns from it.
  14. This tweet did a great job of capturing my thoughts on Legette:
  15. Your draft wishes align with mine. Wouldn’t be made at a slight trade down with #33, as long as we get appropriately compensated for it.
  16. I don’t see Smitty at all. So many better options should be available. In fact, if both he and Jacob Cowing were both available in the 4th/5th, I’d prefer Cowing.
  17. I had to google BC’s height after your post. He’s listed at 6’6. I honestly didn’t realize he was that tall. I think he could be a serviceable replacement for Moton when that time comes.
  18. Could BC compete with Corbett at center? Or is he being groomed for RT if Ickey works out?
  19. Agreed. That felt like a genuine take backed by experience, but what Steelers fans didn’t experience was our WR room last year. They don’t know how desperate we are for WRs who can get open.
  20. I’d go Williams, Boyd, Gallup for my preference of those three. At this point, I’d prefer to wait and see what we, and other teams acquire, in the draft at WR.
  21. Good to know. It’s aggravating the Huddle software can’t make it work, but better than nothing I guess.
  22. That’s not a terrible throw. It’s Mingo having some of the worst field awareness since Dan Orlovsky was playing QB.
  23. Jaycee has his own issues (injury related), but those who were so adamant we should have drafted Fields instead appear…..wrong.
