Watching the PSU vs Boise game, I came away wanting us to select Kaytron Allen at RB on day 3 of the draft. With Brooks’s injuries piling up, Allen looked like a solid add for our backfield, and he’s projected as a late round pick/UDFA where I looked.

Deion is going to realize he doesn’t have as much say as he thinks. If anything, his influence will be on teams passing to avoid the headache.

You’re suggesting Bryce hasn’t received an appropriate amount of backlash for his play since he was drafted? The guy was trounced for over a year by pretty much everyone. Even Bryce believers were ready to move on after his first starts this year.

Sure, but they will have to allocate a large chunk of their cap to Burrow/Chase. Keeping Higgins will be difficult with their defensive troubles. So they’re likely to lose one of their best offensive players, and will be paying full price soon for their QB & WR1 that have led them to a 4-8 record. Yuck

How about the Bengals? AVG: Burrow: 55 million Higgins: 21 million Chase: 21 mil next year then likely 35+ 4-8 record. That has to be depressing for their fans.

Put him on the Hubbard hands improvement plan. I was convinced he may never catch simple passes after his first couple years.

Javon Hargrove could be a cap casualty in San Fran. Trade for him and select T Mac or Burden depending on where we land in draft order. Or figure out a way to trade for Hargrave & sign Higgins. Then we can select Travis Hunter or the best EDGE rusher with our first pick and make a playoff run in 2025.

His confidence and comfort seems to have tripled or better since he was benched.

I started a reply talking about his cap hit for next year (~31.5mil). Looking deeper, releasing him would only save us 17.5mil since ~14mil is signing bonus. I’ve now switched my thinking to the right choice being keeping Moton through next year. The 17.5mil we would save in releasing him could net a RT in the 8-12ish ranking for the position. So we might as well keep him as a veteran leader and career Panther. A valuable trade offer would be the only reason to move him.

Chuba showed up to camp looking like he had worked all off season to build himself into a workhorse RB. His play is showing that paid off. He’s also somehow improved his hands which is very difficult to do at that point in a career. I’m glad we’re keeping a hard worker who’s performing and seems to be great in the locker room. I’ll let y’all keep whining though and discussing Sanders like his contract isn’t easy to escape this offseason.
