  1. Want AR (highest ceiling) best right now is young so I’m fine he is the pick.
  2. Success is an interesting term. He’s successful by playing for so long in the NFL and accumulating a vast amount of wealth. He would put together some great games and then have some absolute stinkers. He was a back up off and on throughout his career, not saying he sucks but some are assuming Young will be great bc of a test scores. I’m just saying Fitz wasn’t great and probably aced all of his tests.
  3. I feel the same except it’s AR for me. I hate to be cliche about young’s size, but it is a factor. The kid is good though and smaller qbs have played well in the past.
  4. I agree with you on that, I’ve made my choice on who I want clear (I’m perfectly fine if it’s young though), who would you prefer?
  5. Not being a jerk, just being curious, why do you think he’s not the sure fire pick for us?
  6. Only thing I can guess is bc everyone knows he’s the pick, the number one pick gets the most coverage.
  7. I figured it was a pipe dream we would get him. I think he will be a great player, whoever gets him will be happy. i will say, guys like kiper and McShay have whiffed and whiffed bad many times. I get it, it’s part of their job, but sometimes they are full of poo.
  8. In this article he said he thinks young is the best and should be the pick. TDs quote I am referring to was in this NFLN segment with Daniel Jeremiah, who by the way at that time, was saying something similar;
  9. Well he never said the panthers should draft AR, he said that’s who he thinks/hears they will draft. Even on that NFLN clip, I believe he said it should be young. By thinks/hears I mean he heard ppl were enamored with AR in the building and based off of that, that’s who he thinks they will draft. To me, this article is him saying who he feels they should draft based off his opinion.
  10. Sorry, I meant to say after the presser they held this week, Kaye mentioned it would be soon.
  11. I think Kaye said that the day of the press conference, it was either Tuesday or very soon I believe
  12. Yup. I’m with you, all signs point to Young, but there is a chance something else could happen…
  13. Also worth noting, that question fitty gave that answer to was specifically about Young right?
  14. Ellis is awesome, good luck to him.
  15. No worries mate, no need to be sorry. My reading comprehension could use some work. I hear you on the meetings Getting back on topic, you read/heard we were high on AR?
  16. Sorry who is “they” panthers or another team?
  17. Did I read somewhere Joe P hinted that AR was 2 on our board or am I insane?
  18. We have a week before the draft, may as well have some fun
  19. It could happen, but RPO doesn’t necessarily mean read option. If I’m not mistake Kirk Cousins did some RPO in Minnesota over the years. It just means the play called has a couple possibilities based off of what the qb sees from the defense. The run part, could just be a simple hand off, sure there could be read option but it’s not exclusive to RPO. Would a player like AR thrive in a RPO, you bet! But so could BY. In terms of thinking it’s AR all along, it’s possible, but right now, unlikely. Looking at all the tinfoil hat items: TD saying we were taking AR, our two day visit with AR (other visits were only one day), Texans supposedly canceling (not confirmed if they canceled or just didn’t schedule one) their visit with AR, Tony Pauline saying Reich wants AR and if I’m not mistaken, Fitt said ultimately, the decision is Reich’s, the trade up happened after the combine where AR blew up and young didn’t participate etc., there could be more but I can’t remember them all. I’m not saying this is going to happen or I believe it, but there are some interesting theories. All the insiders are reporting young, everything is pointing to young, so it’s going to be young.
  20. heres where she says it, but to start it off she still thinks it’s Bryce.
