You could see his true colors when he threw cam under the bus and when we had a scuffle on the sidelines, he didn’t try to break it up, he just stared at it and then when he player bumped into him he freaked out like a child. Many argued (analyst, talking heads) that he was a product of playing it safe. Weren’t there rumblings that year that ppl were tired of him take the layups 24/7 bc he didn’t want to ruin his stats? but yes you are right, numbers like those here don’t happen often.

I don’t understand trading up for an unknown instead of trading for a coach who can win and has won. If they truly value picks, just stay put and use them all. We finally have a good set of draft picks, so if they choose Reich or Wilks, staying put would be best imo. Build a great young team.

IF that happens, I will feel much better about Reich. If it doesn’t I don’t have a good feeling about Reich. As I told you before I live near Indy so I’m surrounded by colts fans and listen to a lot of colts talk (radio, work chatter etc). You don’t have to believe me and that’s ok, but friends of mine have “sources” if you will, really just friends of theirs who know people associated with the colts. They did not have good things to say about Reich. The most glaring thing was the Wentz move they made was all him.

Please don’t trade up that’s all I ask

If it’s between Wilks and Reich, just keep Wilks. If we get Reich we are going to end up with his boy Wentz and be right back to 5-12.

I just feel like we should have dominated this coaching search, really, no excuse. They had so much more time than other teams. I don’t know, maybe I’m looking at it wrong.

Does firing your current coach early in the season have any affect of the hiring process at the end of season. By that I mean, is it advantageous to fire your coach earlier so you can get a head start? We fired the first coach and it was pretty early, should we have a coach by now or are there too many outside circumstances at play?
