  1. If it was Kelce or an athletic TE like Pitts, sure, but Hurst…
  2. I’ve only thought a head coach should be fired after one season twice: Matt Rhule and Frank Reich. Reich is in the same boat as Rhule in the sense that, if we don’t cut our losses soon, the bigger the hole we will have to dig out of. (Sorry about ending in a preposition). Then comes another problem: our bad, delusional, insecure, defensive owner who clearly doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to football. An owner that bashes fans and makes jokes about getting out of the basement, when many of those fans could a better job than him when it comes to hiring a coach. Will he make the right decision to find a replacement? A short history has shown, no he won’t, so we are screwed, it doesn’t matter, at least that’s what it feels like.
  3. Not defending Dave, I read comments in twitter that there is a high turnover in MLS, so according to that it isn’t a shock to see HCs there get fired. I have no idea how true that is, I don’t watch soccer what so ever. I mean we all know Dave sucks, but why do we care what he does with his soccer team?
  4. Thursday night will tell us a lot about this team and ownership in how they respond to all this bs. Win or lose they gotta show us something bc this is absolutely pathetic. I’ve never been this down bad as a panthers fan. 1-15 didn’t feel this bad.
  5. Sometimes it’s good to give them chances, sometimes it’s good to cut your losses and fire after one season, the trick is figuring out what to do in a situation. Me personally, I’d relieve both Reich and fitterer of their duties. Reich at the end of the season, Fitt, two weeks ago.
  6. Good point I forgot about Ron and Marty, giving Marty a second chance after being interim (after being fired the first time) was bold too. Dave isn’t a good owner, but he’s not impatient. Terrible decision maker for football related things. I recall mcafee bringing up the new headquarters in SC and pulling the plug on it as an example of him being impatient. That’s not impatient, that’s Dave just not taking any poo from people (not saying he was right just how I took the situation)
  7. I thought it was the same old mcafee panthers talk: “Tepper isn’t patient blah blah blah” I swear everytime I hear them talk about Carolina, they say the same exact thing. “Tepper isn’t one to be patient”. Well, he was pretty patient with Rhule, should of fired him at the end of his first season. Is that how everyone thinks, Dave isn’t patient?
  8. I’m a big AR fan and that’s who I wanted us to draft. When ar was playing, he had more tds than Bryce and even missed one game. Of course he’s out the rest of the season now, but he played he made plays.
  9. It’s so early to give up on him, but it’s not fun right now. He hasn’t shown he looks like the number one overall pick, let alone a number one overall pick a team at 9 traded the farm for to move to get him. Right now, he looks borderline capable. It doesn’t help his supporting cast is average and his line is a hot mess.
  10. Saw this, it’s great to hear she is home and doing better. Ellis is awesome so I’m glad everything is ok.
  11. Lamar jackson is the most valuable player to his team aside from pat Mahomes. I know it was all just posturing by him and the ravens and he wasn’t leaving, but we should have tried like hell to get him. Should have done whatever it took.
  12. Got ya thanks for that, couldn’t remember. I’d give you pie but I have so much out yesterday it won’t let me.
  13. Right, I’m just saying, coming out and saying we pass not a good look. Just don’t say anything.
  14. I think at that point we had made the trade for number one overall, so you think that pick alone would have enticed the ravens, or was he tagged I can’t remember?
  15. At this point, would it surprise you? Anyone saying that about Lamar doesn’t need listened to. Even the people Tep goes to for advice is bad. Also us and the six or seven other teams who came out and said they will not pursue Lamar after he asked for a trade, look kind of silly right now. Regardless of it being a right move or not, coming outright and saying we don’t want an mvp…oof.
  16. Wasn’t it rumored Tep was seeking advice from Polian? A dinosaur who is out o touch with todays game. Would Tepper even find the right consultant?
  17. It felt like Frank was the guy the entire process and the rest was just going through the motions.
  18. Also passed on Harbaugh when he literally called us for the job. “Nah, Jim, we got Frank lol bye”.
  19. When that report came out about Tepper being blown away by Bryce at their dinner date because of his football IQ, it was a wrap. Same crap was said when he interviewed Rhule, guy doesn’t know poo.
  20. At one point, didn’t AR have more TDs than Bryce while missing a game, before his surgery? Stroud looks like a beast, I think we just expected a guy we traded the farm for and had all this praise to show some flashes of greatness. So far, he’s just shown flashes of being capable. I’ve seen a lot of people say Texans have all these weapons and all that and they are better than Carolina’s, would those weapons look as good if young was their qb as opposed to stroud? I would guess not. I said this yesterday, I’m not giving up on young yet, we still have a long way to go this season. BUT, it’s not looking good lol.
  21. I’m a big believer in the HC and GM should be a tandem. If one get fired, the other should have a huge hand in selecting the next one. When Rhule left, fitt should have followed. The question is, do we let Frank have a say in the next one? Also, who should it be?
