If he wanted out, then there was nothing the team could do, it sucks trading your best wr and valuable piece for Bryce’s development. I just don’t see how this is a good thing.

Rhule was a disaster I had a bad feeling when it was reported that he called the giants asking trying to get them to match the panthers offer or some poo.

It sounds like there is a good chance of this happening (I wish it wouldn’t) but at least if it does, Morgan won’t be fleeced. Vikings fans are crying saying panthers should just give him away, that’s not how this works. He’s too valuable to the offense and is the best wr on the team.

I’m with you there, trading our best wr and Bryce’s favorite target would be absurd.

After this trade Schefter pointed out Vikings have more ammo for a trade and mentioned the talks with carolina. I don’t know if he is foreshadowing but I feel like it should be mentioned.

Not saying I agree with it, but it’s the only explanation I have as to why they brought him back.

My guess is that Bryce really likes him so the team probably thinks it’s best for his development?

I recall something similar his rookie year as well, by year three he had things dialed in though. Especially in 15 I remember Rivera said he let him do his thing pre snap. On his rookie year the lockout didn’t do him any favors so him being a little behind makes sense. Bryce getting help doesn’t bother me too much either, but if it happens a lot this year, there may be a problem because he’s supposed to be a super processor or whatever.

How common is this with other teams or even younger qbs?
