    I’m all for getting playmakers regardless of position, but if we are going to trade, wouldn’t it be better to trade for a defensive playmaker?

    I wouldn’t. We need to see more of the last game of the season from him before that happens. I understand he can’t do that every game, but high level play consistently for a majority of the year would warrant an extension in my eyes. Until then, they should roll with the contract he has currently.

    He said he needed money? I thought he was saying when nfl checks stop rolling in, it’s humbling. I don’t take that as he’s needing money, it’s just he’s not making as much now.

    I hope he doesn’t do that with cam, it just seems so petty. Cam didn’t call him out personally and let everyone know some poo that happened in the locker or some embarrassing stuff behind the scenes. Cam put his foot in his mouth (although I don’t think he meant any ill will) lets hope he makes it right and everyone moves on.

    I know not all those players were trash, heck, Johnson is one of my all time favorite panthers, but they went 2-14. Never went 2-14 again until cam was gone. This sucks because I love cam and I love CJ and Smith and all the other guys who, rightfully, take offense to his comments. Whether he is right or wrong, sometimes it’s best to keep your mouth shut.

    Ouch the family drama part stings a little. Outside of a few players, cam is right, this team was trash and not relevant. Didn’t Smith trash the poo out of the team when he got cut? Didn’t pep do the same when he left for Chicago?

    Interesting for sure, I think I remember him saying if he could go back he’d tear every ligament in his knee to jump on that ball. I get where he is coming from on this, most people, especially social media, won’t take this well.
