Do all the teams that want him know something about these cases? Also, do analyst and others like Schefter know something as well? Everything being reported is as if what he’s going through will blow over. Espn and nfln rarely mention the cases and talk as if nothing is wrong. Would an owner be willing to part with so much capital and be this adamant about acquiring him without knowing something we don’t? It just seems so odd to me.

I don’t know if you follow Benjamin Albright (insider for the broncos but very connected around the league) hes a very good follow on Twitter. Anyway, he pinned a tweet on his page last night asking what the betting odds were for Watson to Carolina. He made that post last year when it was heavily rumored he was coming to Charlotte. This was not his pinned tweet a few days ago and for it to come out of nowhere like this says a lot. Couple that with Verges info, we may have something here. edit: also, two hours before the Wilson trade, Albright tweeted out the odds of WIlson to the broncos.... This is going to get interesting.

Yes, keeping him from TB was awesome, but keeping a DPOY, All Pro, one of the best CBs in the league and a guy who wants to actually be here, would have been better. Players like him are few and far between.

I don’t understand this management. Trade for a hometown guy, who just so happens to arguably be the best CB in the game, only get to use him for a handful of games, and you don’t bring him back. I’m not saying that’s what happened, but I wouldn’t put it past this team. Gilmore>Djax and it should be Gilmore coming back. He actually wants to be here, bless his heart.

That was from last year, according to Verge, that was bc he wanted Miami. It wasn’t that he wouldn’t come here, he just preferred the fins. Now that miami has backed out, that may have changed. it might be somewhat accurate. Josina Anderson reported that Watson’s agent has not ever said he wants to play for TB or Vikings. Add that in with what Verge has heard, it’s possible.

If they draft a qb it should be this young man, not fake slide Pickett.
