No need to tear down Steelers fans. They get on my nerves but, they are everywhere and they support their team. Trust me, there are plenty of heifer Panthers fans. I don't think they put out like Steelers fans though.
I haven't read what the thinking is on Gurley's timetable. When is he expected to be ready to play? It would be a bummer to draft him and he not be able to play until late in the season. Of course, it turned out ok with Tre Boston and Gurley could make a much, much bigger impact. And obviously, the validity of the pick goes beyond this coming season.
I've honestly never been so torn on who the Panthers should draft. This draft is as wide open as any I remember. It's a total crap shoot.
As a unit, the 2000 LB corps were pretty bad:
O. J. Childress, Hannibal Naives, Lester Towns, Michael Hawkes, Dean Wells, Lee Woodall
I think Navies, Towns & Woodall were the starters.
Not sure if anyone else mentioned this, but Goodell has no legal right to see the terms of the settlement between Holder and Hardy. Now, he can strong arm Hardy that if he didn't allow him to know the terms, any suspension could be more severe. But doesn't Holder also have to agree to let outside parties see the settlement terms? Maybe that was part of the settlement, who knows.
