Every team in the league has guys like DeAngelo floating around on the roster. Want him back, too? What about Byron Bell? There's a lot of sorry linemen on teams, too. Tell me why you sign Bersin now instead of after you've nearly spent your last available dime? What, you concerned someone else was going to pick him up?

Just sell the team already, Jerry.

Ted Ginn leaning towards going home to Cleveland

Please do (go back to Cleveland). -
Why does someone ALWAYS type this nonsense?

Cam Newton should be paid more than Luck or Wilson

I've said this a hundred times or more, so I agree with the point being made.- 181 replies

Panthers and Cam Newton in contract talks

Luke is also up for an extension this offseason. Person could've discussed how that might factor into the Panthers' offseason moves. Cutting DeAngelo won't be close to enough.- 218 replies

The problem has been Johnson, Stewart, Godfrey and DeAngelo's contracts, not whatever Cam gets. If those four guys' had gotten more acceptable deals, no one with a clue would be calling $20M a year for Cam/QB "cap hell."- 218 replies

Panthers and Cam Newton in contract talks
ThinkAboutIt replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's smart. Those #1 pick contracts used to be full of guaranteed money, a contract that Cam was (rightly) denied under the new (better) system. He was still a #1 pick, didn't suck, and set records despite an inept front office and head coach most of his tenure, so more guaranteed money is "justified" in his case. If he was drafted 100th, he'd still want it, but I'd say different even if he'd earned it.- 218 replies

Proving yet again that "fans" are idiots. Even a Jordan/Bulls hater should be able to acknowledge a fact. FACT > your emotions- 218 replies

You should've wanted it done last year then instead of [some of the morons around here who are continuously] wanting to keep pushing it back each year so Cam can keep "proving himself" based on an ever-changing marker. Cam's reps are smart to let Luck and Wilson reset the market because the Panthers should've gotten his extension done a year ago.- 218 replies

DGB Considered "Best WR to Come Out since Calvin Johnson."
ThinkAboutIt replied to nctarheel0619's topic in Carolina Panthers
Get over yourselves. Keep sucking with choir boys. This is the one area where I trust a former player who looks like Rivera to be able to make an impact on a guy with an ill-behaved past. Hardy was accused by a gold-digging addict. To keep bringing that up is ignorant. He was never a guy constantly failing drug tests or being suspended. That honor goes more to Frank Alexander who I don't hear you trying to run out of town. -
Honorable Mention: Legedu Naanee

League files motion for Hardy's evidence
ThinkAboutIt replied to philit99's topic in Carolina Panthers
The legal system should say, "Dear NFL, your authority does not supersede ours, so kiss my behind." How dare these bastards attempt to subject Hardy to an internal tribunal just because the legal system dismissed his case? -
Why "now"? #1 problem with the world: People who have to see something to believe it...aka, "most people." Never had any doubt that he was getting off somehow after a real court date.
-
Cam Newton won't be happy about that.

Is the reason no one can get in contact with Hardy's accuser because she OD'ed after the settlement? Pure speculation, but not implausible.

Report: Panthers Not Expected To Bring Back Hardy
ThinkAboutIt replied to Mr Mojo Risin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Stupid comment. The last two seasons Hardy played, his "name" might not have been "elite," but his "production" was.
