Imagine if we took Cross instead of Icky. Small mistakes just pile on with this place. That dude had great footwork and pass blocking ability. We took the local run blocker.

Poll: Has Bryce Played His Last Snap as a Panther?
PappyMay replied to Captroop's topic in Carolina Panthers
and add $22million to the dead cap? if you can find someone who wants to take on that contract i'm all for moving on. Financially just doesn't make much sense unless you can trade him. -
Poll: Has Bryce Played His Last Snap as a Panther?
PappyMay replied to Captroop's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd like to see him play the last few games of the season assuming we are well under .500. Maybe 2-3months on the sideline could do him so good. Makes no sense to cut him next offseason with the dead money and can't imagine a team giving up a decent asset for him at this current moment. -
Assuming it's done do you select a qb this year or wait?
PappyMay replied to Panthero's topic in Carolina Panthers
for a starting spot? Maybe. Only 32 of them out there and I'm sure the Vikings want to see McCarthy out there. I don't see why any decent QB would want to come here. Brissett? Fields Maybe? -

Bring back Darnold on a 2 year deal. Draft one in the 2nd or 3rd round. Trade down our pick and recoup on all these bad trades. -
I’d love Hunter but would Prime let him come here?He openly said last week he expects him and his son both to go top 4 and for sure there could be an Eli situation ahead if he didn’t like where they were landing. I do like the fact Hunter also said he doesn’t care about partying. All he wants to do is fish and play video games.

Jay Gruden on Bryce Young: He looks small and plays small
PappyMay replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m all for trading down and grabbing a starter but Canales may want his pick. Williams , Pearce, Johnson, or Hunter please sign me up for any of the 4 -
Real Talk - A New Approach in Being A Fan Currently
PappyMay replied to Matthias's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t blame Bryce. I blame Fitterer. I’m just sad about how bad the situation is. You see other teams rebuild in 2-3 years all the time so I try to be hopeful maybe with the new regime it can be us too. I’m looking forward to watching top 25 NCAA games and looking at guys I think can help fix us. *now I just really also need my Tarheels not to get beat by Alabama and Auburn in basketball later this year or it will make going for the worst team in football In football kingdom even harder when I don’t even have basketball to fall back on. -

I’m intrigued by Ewers. He lost his best 4 weapons in Worthy, Mitchell, Sanders, and Brooks to the draft. I’m intrigued to see he does with this next batch. Isiah Bond will be a mid round pick but I haven’t heard of any of the other weapons before. -
we arent bad enough to get Stroud if the first couple things happen.

Anyone going to the shitshow bowl in Germany?
PappyMay replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm thinking Giants coaching staff throws this game to try and land the # 1 pick. Who knows if their players make a few plays we could still get beat this game. -
So it’s between us and the Giants for #1 pick?
PappyMay replied to LegioX's topic in Carolina Panthers
Totally agree with this. We can not afford to miss on QB again with so many holes. Trade down a few picks and still get a day 1 starter. Allar, Ward, Leonard, and I’m sure someone else will show flashes. There will be plenty of QBs in the 2nd. Our first round pick needs to be a bonafide starter. -
I’m still delusional and hoping for 5 wins. I know it’s doubtful. But I won’t be watching this week. I’ll check my phone a few times for updates because I hate myself.

Who are You Drafting with the #1 Pick of 2025???
PappyMay replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
Y’all think Fields could be better than any of these guys coming out? Sign him and take BPA? We are still going to need another draft to help out on this depleted talent. -

Trade down 2-5 picks to gain more picks, still get a starter in top 7. Then grab Allar/Ward/ Leonard in the 2nd to battle it out with Bryce. -
I was really hoping for him to improve so we could go after one of these top CB or Edges next year in the draft. another 2 weeks of this and I guess i'll start watching GA and TX games to see which QB I like more.
-
Williams and Pearce both have elite traits. QB's will get over drafted and and then Travis Hunter. We could be picking at 5 and still get our help. I'd love to be picking at 10-12, just being realistic.

With tackles needing to play up a bit with all these flags I wonder how much that’s going to help speed guys like Burns.
-
Only way to get out of this hole quickly is having a few recent draft picks turn into decent starters on rookie deals. Fingers crossed Dj Johnson, Trevin Wallace, Chau Smith Wade(nickel), Jatavion Sanders, Xavier Leggette, Jonathan Brooks, and our first 2 picks next year starting in 2025 and 2026 would go a long way to fix things.
-
i took Johnson as my flex hoping he puts up AT's #'s from last year. 2 guys started taking Bears and Miami players earlier than ADP because they are fans so helped me out. Love/Goff Bijan Conner Adams Olave Laporta Johnson

Bama Bryce is back. Panthers +175. Easy money
-
6 wins and Bryce over 3500 passing yards this year would be a win. I’m now hoping for more than 5-12 after one good drive last week.
-
JJ, Shaq, Dalton, and Theilen account for a lot of that.
-
very solid starting backer. Probably was never worth that first extension he got , but the man clearly wants to be here. Seems like a great locker room guy too. Would be awesome if he could see the Playoffs with us one more time before he goes away. Hope he's one of the Thomas Davis/Steve Smith types who stick around Charlotte and are active after they retire.
