I'm hoping for a top 5pick and him or Stroud at this point.
-
We need to use him exactly like they use Deebo. 7-8 carries, 7-8 targets. It would cut his touches in half but atleast he's on the field and fresh. Hopefully we improve the line and Hubbard keeps improving. CMC has too much dead money to cut ties with this coming season anyways.

Dream Scenario...Eagles want trade up for secondary help and get the corner of their choosing or Hamilton. We get 16 and 19. Hope Linderbaum, Cross, Green, or Penning is there at 16 then 19 take Dean or Lloyd

Trade out of 6 or trade away a player instead?
PappyMay replied to Reebis21's topic in Carolina Panthers
don't trade any players this season. Be prepared to know it'll be another 4-6 win season and hope for CJ Stroud or Bryce Young next year. Trade down #6 then take the best OL available. would actually like to use the gained pick for a possession WR or receiving TE so can move Robby next offseason and also insurance if Moore can't be retained. This isnt going to be a 1 year rebuild and we should be prepared. -
Trade down but not past mid teens. Linderbaum, Ikem, Green, Cross. take whoever is left. All would make this team better.

this is the dumbest take i've seen in awhile. I live in Birmingham and can't even get on board with this.
-
Would bring me joy for him to pan out and looks solid in these last two starts. Gives more abilty to trade down and take Linderbaum, Green, or Ikwonu to help sure up the inside. I like Cross but if answer is already here that would be such a blessing.

Would love this draft, only thing that would make me happier is we drafted him because we traded down 2-4 picks to get a 2nd or 3rd back.
-
I'd probably get roasted for suggesting this but if Hamilton is there a 9 I wouldnt hate the pick. Every other scenario my dream is trade down and recoup our 2nd. Lindenbaum, Green, Ekwonu, Cross, Penning. Somebody will have to be left in the mid teens. At this point i'd also like to trade Robby for a 3rd and use his money to pay Moore and use that draft pick to replace him.

Couldn't agree more and with the cap continuing to rise paying $15 mil for a #2 receiver wont be the end of the world. Maybe a more dynamic Curtis Samuel -Underline Keyboard shortcut Ctrl+U.url

I voted for Jackson just because I think Reddick is having a pro bowl season and is going to cost a TON.
-
Bouye signed 2 years for 7 million I do believe. He'll be back.
-
Gilmore and Donte may not be back. What's the worst thing that happens here? You have a rotational corner or spot starter on a 2 year $5mil deal? He literally turned 23 last week. Too early to give up on him just yet.
-
Is whatever QB is available at 8-10 (where I expect we pick) really going to move the needle? Take best trade down to recoup the 2nd rounder and get a Olineman in first round. Maybe Riddler will fall to the second to develop. Take best of both worlds.

Trade Down only option for 2022 draft?
PappyMay replied to slumdogmillionaire's topic in Carolina Panthers
I assume we will be picking 8-10. Would love to trade down a few picks and still land Linderbaum or Green. Offensive line is my biggest concern. Need a day 1 starter. -
If we can get a 3 year starter on a 3rd round contract I can live with developing for a year. Not the end of the world. Have alot of dead money coming off this year so extend DJ and get a Tackle via 1st round or FA like another said. If Brown starts 2-3years here at guard on a rookie deal even better! Both guards on a rookie deal will free up money for other positions.

Would love for this draft to happen but of course it isn’t realistic. IOL is on lock for next few years. Get a TE and DE to develop. Secondary depth. And an immediate contributor on offense to replace Samuel as well as CMC’s back up to replace Mike Davis
