I could see us running the ball effectively and losing by less than 10. I could also see us getting behind and having to throw and Bryce throwing 2 picks and losing by 27. Either way this forum will be happy when we move up another 2 picks in the draft.

Seeing the Chiefs after an L makes me think we are about to get drummed 34-13.

I'd love to improve our Rush defense, but have to hope just a healthy Brown can do a huge difference in that. We save $4.5million to move on from Ashawn and $3million in moving on from Tuttle. I'm just not sure if we are going to find better players than them for the cost of their savings. Obviously drafting Mason Graham you could move on from Both after next year. Or a trade down to the teens and draft Deone Walker. But have to imagine 1 or both are back for one more ride next year.

I agree about us needing a shifty player. If can’t land a bigger fish Tutu Atwell has some wiggle and could be a solid #3. Probably wouldn’t cost a ton. Tez Johnson in 3rd or 4th is who I want because Aswell.

I guess in my head his rookie contract would have been 4yrs. 2022 draft pick so last year would be the last year of his deal. Guessing maybe when got sent to the practice squad or something it could of changed how it work?

We will still be picking in top 7, lets be real. I can't see us winning more than 2 more games. I'm not going to whine about winning. There will still be probowl caliber talent there when we pick. XL, Coker, Brooks, and Sanders are all going to be on cheap deals next two years. The whole oline is back next year minus Brady. This contract isn’t going to kill us. Attack defense in the draft and build this thing out.

If Chuba finshes out this contract he'll only trail Stewart and Williams on rush yards here I imagine. Locker room guy and a dawg. I'm on board with it. If he falls off or gets injusred you only have to pay him for 2 years and let Brooks take over the final year of his rookie deal.

Seems like the type of guy you want to build your culture around which we have none of. Hard worker and never hear about him being in trouble. We already said you'd have to overpay free agents to come here with how trash we are. I was hoping we'd resign him for around 6mil a year. He got a little over 8.

I don't love Mason Graham at 2-3 where i expect we pick at the moment but if we trade down or pick at 7-8 i do like him. Also could move on from Ashawn Robinson and save 4 million to spend somewhere else if took a him.

Bryce will never be a star, but some things he did gave me hope he could be a game manager.(I know that’s not what you want from your #1pick) Yesterday’s game made me feel the defense was a bigger issue than his tiny arm. We still suck and think we only can beat the Giants if we win the turnover battle. I’m just going to enjoy wearing my Panthers polo at work today. A lot of saints fans down here in Birmingham.

Let’s be real. We probably only get to 4 wins max. We will still have a top 5 pick. Even if we miss out Will Johnson has gotten Pat Surtain like comparisons or grab your first pick of the edges. I agree. Wouldn’t hate using first 2 rounds on defensive. And if we wait until mid 3rd or 4th for WR I’d love Tez Johnson. Could be 3rd/4th speedster WR and return man in case needed to come off Blackshear. Deep down I just want him because i still claim he’s a Troy Trojan.

Unless they trade him somehow so another team takes on that contact I just don’t see how he isn’t their QB for the next 2 years.
