Mike Wallace Discusses His Situation With The Dolphins Josina Anderson of ESPN spoke to Dolphins WR Mike Wallace about his current situation with the Dolphins. On if he is happy with playing for the Miami Dolphins: “Yeah I am happy. It is a nice place to play football, so yes I am happy.” On if coming to Miami has been what he has expected? “Yes for the most part.” On whether Wallace is open to a pay cut or restructuring his deal if asked: “Like I said I am willing to help out the team, but at the same time I’m not about to do nothing crazy either. I’ll definitely help the team out, but it has to be reasonable—what I feel is reasonable.” On what he feels is reasonable: “I don’t know. I have to see what exactly what my agent and the team is talking about and whatever I feel is reasonable. It’s not set like this is what it is. If we come to an agreement, I’m with it. Like I said, I’m not about to do something too crazy. I still have a family that comes first.” On if he’s communicated a pay cut limit: “Not really because whatever the deal is going to be, it’s going to be to where I get my money back. It’s not going to be like I just take a cut and that’s what it is. No, it’s not going to be like that. If it is a restructure, (there’s) going to have to be ways I can earn my money back.”

Jets are interested QB Brian Hoyer, but only “if the price is right.” “[W]e’re not trying to break the bank for (Hoyer). We need someone to help Geno [smith] out and help out the quarterback position. At the end of the day, I’m not looking losing sleep over which [veteran QB] we bring in.”

Williams receives a three-year contract worth $18 million that includes base salaries of $7 million (2015), $5 million (2016) and $6 million (2017). Williams reportedly had contract offers from the Ravens, Jets, and Titans, but it appeared as though he could be headed to Seattle barring a large offer from one of the other teams. Report: Dolphins Trying To Trade LBs Philip Wheeler & Dannell Ellerbe the reason why the Dolphins haven’t announced the release of either linebackers Philip Wheeler or Dannell Ellerbe is because they are trying to trade them before 4 PM EST today. Previous reports had said that the Dolphins were releasing Ellerbe and planned to make Wheeler a post-June 1 release. Both of them were offseason acquisitions a few years during the Dolphins big free agent spending spree in which they also got Mike Wallace. Ellerbe, still has another three years remaining on his five-year, $34.75 million contract that includes $14 million guaranteed. He stands to make base salaries of $8.425 million (2015), $6.45 million (2016), and $6 million (2017) coming his way. According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Ellerbe will free up $5.65 million in available cap space while creating $4.2 million in dead money. Last year, Ellerbe was limited to appearing in just one game due to a hip injury he sustained in early September. According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Wheeler after June 1 will free up $3 million in cap space while creating $1.4 million in dead money. Wheeler, 30, still had three years remaining on his five-year, $26 million contract that included $13 million guaranteed. He would have made base salaries of $2.9 million (2015) and $4.9 million (2016-2017) over the remainder of the contract. In 2014, Wheeler appeared in 15 games and recorded 45 tackles for the Dolphins. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 18 outside linebacker in a 4-3 system out of 40 qualifying players.

Early this morning, it was discovered that Murray has deleted any references to the Cowboys from his Twitter page, and Also shut down his MySpace page, which has opened the door for further speculation that he won’t be back in Dallas next year. the Jaguars could show “strong” interest in signing Murray. Murray may as well take his time now, Murray would probably be best to survey all of his options in the coming days. Murray and his camp are confident there are teams willing to pay him $8 million per year. Murray, 26, was extremely impressive this season. He ran for 1,845 yards on 393 carries (4.7 YPC) and scored 13 touchdowns, over the course of 16 games and added another 57 receptions for 416 yards receiving. Long was the top pick in the 2008 NFL Draft and earned four consecutive Pro Bowl appearances from 2008 through 2011. When healthy, he's among the best pass protectors in the league and has never been a slouch in the run game, either. But dude has glass knees ,Long didn't play bad prior to the injury but hard to come back from 2 ACL tears and he needed his MCL repaired

Browns Still Interested In TE Jermaine Gresham If Raiders Can’t Get Him Signed Update: Browns are still interested in signing free agent TE Jermaine Gresham if the Raiders are unable to get a long-term deal in place with him. It would definitely be a surprise to see a cap-rich team like the Raiders elect to pursue Gresham over Thomas. However, this doesn’t mean that they won’t be players for Thomas. Gresham, 26, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2010, but he never managed to live up to his draft status during his time with the team. In 2014, Gresham caught 62 passes for 460 yards receiving and five touchdowns over the course of 15 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 37 tight end out of 67 qualifying players.

Eagles Still Working To Re-Sign WR Jeremy Maclin Eagles continue to make a push to re-sign WR Jeremy Maclin, who remains one of their offseason priorities. Eagles are “certainly being proactive thus far.” it’s “very possible” that free agent WR Jeremy Maclin will return to the Eagles, unless some team is willing to overpay to get him under contract. The Jets were a suitor for him until they acquiredBrandon Marshall in a trade last week. With this in mind, there is a chance that someone team could offer Maclin a massive contract and apply some pressure to the Eagles. However, it’s not as though Philadelphia doesn’t have the cap space to work with. If they want to re-sign Maclin, they can get the deal done, but we’ll have to see how things go in the days leading up to free agency. Maclin, 26, missed the entire 2013 season after he suffered a torn ACL. The Eagles later signed him to a one-year contract worth $5.5 million, even though they were reportedly interested in giving him a multi-year agreement. In 2014, he caught 85 passes for 1,318 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns over the course of 16 games.Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 14 receiver out of 110 qualifying players.
