Titans show interest in former first-round RB Trent Richardson once he clears waivers. The Colts announced Thursday that they placed Richardson and RB Michael Hill on waivers. The writing was on the wall for Richardson and his time in Indianapolis, especially after the team suspended him two games, which voided the remaining guarantees in his contract. Richardson, 24, former No. 3 overall pick back in 2012. Cleveland was smart to get a first-round pick for him after just one year in the league. Although, that pick was used on QB Johnny Manziel, so the jury’s still out on whether they’ll actually recoup any value from that pick. In 2014, he ran for 519 yards on 159 carries (3.3 YPC) to go along with 27 receptions for 229 yards receiving and three touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 29 running back out of 57 qualifying players.

"On a side note.." Buccaneers will host Oregon QB Marcus Mariota at the team’s facility in Tampa on Monday. And will have a private workout with Mariota in April. This is similar to the visit Florida State QB Jameis Winston took a few weeks, and really isn’t all that surprising consider that teams meet with a number of prospects during the draft process Mariota had his Pro Day on Friday, and while there were some mixed reviews, it’s doubtful that he’s going to see a dip in his draft stock like Teddy Bridgewater did a year ago.

Cowboys agree to two-year deal with Darren McFadden pending a physical. McFadden’s two-year deal worth up to $5.85 million and includes a $200,000 signing bonus.

NFL Notes: Draft, 49ers, Cowboys, Falcons, Giants, & Ravens Draft ASU S Damarious Randall has private workouts set up with seven teams including: the Texans, Seahawks, Colts, Cardinals, Buccaneers, Panthers, and Patriots. Randall also has visits lined up at the team facilities of the Browns, Eagles, Vikings and Giants. The Patriots, Bills, Raiders, Eagles, Colts, Falcons, and Broncos were among the teams on had for Hobart OL Ali Marpet’s Pro Day. (CFB 24/7) 49ers 49ers were interested in re-signing CB Chris Culliver, who agreed to a four-year deal worth $32 million with the Redskins this morning. Cowboys Jerry Jones was willing to pay RB DeMarco Murray $7 million per year to bring him back, but his son, VP of Player Personnel Stephen Jones, did not want to add Murray at the cost of $6 million to $8 million annually. Falcons Falcons have a tight end and a safety flying in for visit on Friday. No details as to who will be meeting with the Falcons. Giants regarding the Giants’ safety position: “Nobody knows what [they’re] going to do at free safety…They don’t have one on the roster that started an NFL game.“ Ravens WR Stevie Johnson, WR Dwayne Bowe, and TE Scott Chandler potential free agent targets for the Ravens.

Browns have interest in former Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe, “strong interest.” mentioned not too long ago that the Browns would at least explore the idea of signing Bowe, and he noted his ties to GM Ray Farmer. former 49ers WR Stevie Johnson is also expected to be on their radar. It’s worth mentioning that the Ravens and Patriots have also come up as speculative landing spots for Bowe. Bowe, 30, had another three years remaining on his five-year, $56 million contract when he was released. The move freed up $5 million in cap space for the Chiefs. In 2014, Bowe appeared in 15 games for the Chiefs and caught 60 passes for 754 yards receiving and no touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 45 receiver out of 110 qualifying players.

Redskins are signing former 49ers CB Chris Culliver to a four-year deal. Culliver receives a four-year, $32 million contract from the Redskins Previous reports had said that Culliver was likely to be one of the most sought after cornerbacks in this year’s market, but there had been a limited amount of buzz in recent days. Culliver figures to be a solid addition for the Redskins, who could really use another cornerback in their secondary. Culliver, 26, recorded 45 tackles, four interceptions, a forced fumble, a recovery, a defensive touchdown and 15 pass defenses for the 49ers in 2014. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 14 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players.

Saints & C.J. Spiller Have “Strong Mutual Interest” mutual interests exists between free agent RB C.J. Spiller and the New Orleans Saints. Spiller reportedly visited with the Saints on Thursday, but has also come up as a potential option for the Cowboys, who just lost DeMarco Murray to the Eagles. New Orleans has shed some cap space through several moves, including TE Jimmy Graham to the Sehawks, so Spiller could serve as a solid complement to RB Mark Ingram. Spiller, 27, was limited to appearing in nine games and rushing for 300 yards on 78 carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with 19 receptions for 125 yards receiving and one touchdown.

Marcus Mariota, Trent Richardson, Bills, Browns, & Raiders Marcus Mariota Oregon QB Marcus Mariota said that he will be meeting with Buccaneers, Eagles and Titans at his Pro Day Friday. Trent Richardson Former first-round pick Trent Richardson discussed what happened with Mike Wells of ESPN during his time in Indianapolis following his release from the Colts. “Me and the GM didn’t see eye to eye,” Richardson said. “My next step, I’ll be the starter. Indy didn’t fit me.” Richardson told Wells that he was “continually fined for being 230 pounds” when the Colts wanted him to remain at 227 pounds. In regards to missing the AFC Championship game, Richardson said he told HC Chuck Pagano that he would fly to New England for the game. However, Pagano told him he was going to be inactive no matter what. Bills Tyrod Taylor‘s new two-year contract with the Bills would increase his salary to over $7 million if he ends up being the team’s starter quarterback. Browns Browns OLB Barkevious Mingo mentioned that he underwent offseason shoulder surgery in early January, but is pretty sure he’ll be 100 percent in time for training camp. Chiefs Chiefs sign LS James Winchester to a two-year deal. Raiders nothing is imminent between the Raiders and free agent TE Jermaine Gresham, but this doesn’t mean they won’t sign him at some point either.

Redskins are hosting free agent CB Chris Culliver for a visit in the coming days. Culliver was likely to be one of the most sought after cornerbacks in this year’s market, and while La Canfora says he’s “in-demand” there has been surprisingly very little buzz about him in recent days. The Vikings reportedly expressed interest in him, but that’s about all we’ve heard up to this point. Culliver, 26, recorded 45 tackles, four interceptions, a forced fumble, a recovery, a defensive touchdown and 15 pass defenses for the 49ers in 2014. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 14 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players.

jets have reached out free agent WR Cecil Shorts. The Jets have already brought in veteran WR Brandon Marshall, but they could still use more help at the position. As things stand right now, there hasn’t been a great deal of buzz regarding Shorts, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see him end up being a decent value signing in the end. Shorts, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Jaguars, who played out his four-year, $2,672,146 rookie contract that included $443,380 guaranteed, and should be able to secure a raise in the coming weeks. In 2014, Shorts caught 66 receptions for 777 yards receiving and three touchdowns over the course of 13 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 98 receiver out of 110 qualifying players.

Interesting. @MoveTheSticks says good thing Marcus Mariota threw at the Combine, which was far better than his pro day. Rarely hear that.

Texans are still interested in re-signing free agent S Kendrick Lewis, even after they agreed to terms with S Rahim Moore earlier in the day. Houston like to use three safeties a lot, which is why they would consider bringing him back next year. Lewis, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with Kansas City before signing a one-year deal with the Texans last year worth the minimum. In 2014, Lewis appeared in Lewis appeared in all 16 games and recorded 84 tackles, two interceptions (one for a touchdown), three forced fumbles, a recover, six pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 39 safety out of 87 qualifying players.

Falcons Sign DE/OLB O’Brien Schofield Schofield was someone to keep an eye on for the Falcons this offseason given their need for a pass-rusher and the fact that he spent time working with Dan Quinn in Seattle. Schofield, 27, appeared in all 16 games for the Seahawks last year and recorded 21 tackles, three sacks and a fumble recovery. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 26 outside linebacker out of 59 qualifying players.
