  1. Moton is 11% of our cap... I think we can find a suitable replacement for much less.
  2. A 6th and his cap savings.
  3. So are we going to the playoffs this year? The answer is NO! We are in a rebuild, and right now we can get something for Moton. I guess we can just go 6-11 and do this again next year? So what do you guys suggest? Sign him to a new contract at the end of the year or let him walk after the season? Both of those options are terrible. Signing him to a new contract is crazy, and letting him walk for nothing is craZier!
  4. What could we get in a trade of Moton? He has a little age on him, and is starting to get a little nicked up... And we can draft Membou. We get younger at a position of need and gather a few picks in the trade? We are building for the future, and this guy Membou would be a good addition up front.
  5. We have no idea what was going on in this kids mind.. Sounds like he needed help, and wasn't getting it. Good kids can make fatal mistakes, just like bad kids can become good kids.
  6. So that’s what you got from my post?
  7. Posted March 12 Warren at TE covers 2 of these positions... I'm starting to like the idea of drafting this guy. If we are looking receiver help at #8, make it Warren and not a WR. I still think trading back is our best option, we have to many needs to not try an acquire extra picks. Maybe the Steelers would trade up for S. Sanders if he is still on the board? I tried to speak this into existence.... Maybe it will happen?
  8. Several players will start moving up team's draft boards as it gets closer, as it always happens. And depending on how the first 3 or 4 picks go, somebody could want to move up for S. Sanders or J. Dart or maybe even Warren?. I think all of these guys go in the top 12. It's really early for everybody to be showing their hands. With that said, I'll stick to what I've been saying, the Panthers will not pick at #8. This is a message board, we all don't have to agree. I know you struggle with other's opinions, but I have my own.
  9. We can all calm down, because we won’t be picking at 8. The Panthers will trade back in this draft to accumulate more draft compensation. Now will we pick Stewart or Mykel? Maybe, but it won’t be at #8
  10. I'm struggling to find a WR corp that is worse than ours unfortunately. Every team has a #1 WR, we don't have one. Maybe the Jags?
  11. Already a post about this specific player.. Scroll down
  12. Let's just trade our 3rd for Pickens and call it a day?
  13. Aiyuk if traded will end up costing something in vicinity of what Metcalf was worth. We were in on Metcalf, I can't see us staying away from Aiyuk, unless its purely because of last years injury. If healthy, Aiyuk is top receiver in this league and somebody is gonna be glad to have him.
  14. Would we, or could we afford to trade for this guy? Healthy, he is a #1 WR. We need receiver help. He's young and fits what we are looking for in the draft at that position. Thoughts? If they would take this year's 2nd, and maybe 4th would he be worth that? I'm thinking if we trade the 8th pick and get another 2nd or 3rd then this wouldn't hurt so much. We can recoup one of the picks we give SF by trading back? Just something to ponder.
  15. Warren at TE covers 2 of these positions... I'm starting to like the idea of drafting this guy. If we are looking receiver help at #8, make it Warren and not a WR. 16. Trade back unless Hunter, or Abdul Carter are available. I’m warming up to the Tyler Warren pick in the 1st. Just not sure I like that pick at 8? If I knew we could trade back to 15-18 and still get him while adding a late 2nd or early 3rd third, that would be ideal for me.
  17. Walker in the 1st or Stutsman in the 3rd or later… I’ll take Stutsman
  18. Losing D. Brown early disrupted everything. Not making excuses, but without him we were destined to be below avg.
  19. At least to me, it looks like Morgan has a plan. And that's a start for a turn around for this franchise. We will stop the run!
  20. Not sure what it would take, but I sure would like to get Greenlaw on a 1 year prove it deal.
  21. Lots of options at Edge and DT in the draft. I suspect we will sign a couple of each at that position. "There are only three safeties with five or more interceptions, five or more tackles for loss and 15 or more passes defended since 2023, according to Sports-Reference.com: Jessie Bates III, Kyle Hamilton and Tre'von Moehrig. He also totaled a career-high 104 tackles in 2024, and he's incredibly durable, playing in 66 of a possible 68 games in four seasons despite leading the Raiders in defensive snaps (4,066) since being drafted in 2021. Moehrig, who turns 25 on June 16, could potentially level up while playing with more talented teammates. "
