It didn’t matter who we picked at QB, they were all gonna stuck with the talent we have right now. The fact remains we set this team back at least 2 years by giving up the 2 best players we had and getting nothing in return. We should have stayed at 9 in the draft, or traded back for more picks. And drafted QB next year or the following year.

We should have kept what we had... We have mortgaged our future on who we hope and pray can be a franchise QB. I'm gonna save this thread and come back to it in 3 years, when we are drafting another QB... He will be ruined by the time we can build a team around him. We needed so many pieces on this team and we decided to give up any chance to build depth. Now when we look at our team, it looks like we need OL help again, a #1 receiver, and a few other pieces to make this a quality team. I'm waiting to see how we will dig out of this mess.

This issue isn’t a coaching issue, it’s a talent issue. As I’ve tried to say before, but was poo on or had a my post locked. We panicked and traded away our franchise for a hope and a dream. Bryce can’t win this on his own. We have set him up for failure. We have next to no talent around him, and we are seeing the results of this. We should have built some talent and depth and drafted QB in 24 or 25… anybody want to tell me this years (24) QB draft class isn’t as good as the (23) class?

I’ve been on and had another thread locked because I have questioned trading for the #1 pick. I said our team was terrible and we need more talent before drafting a supposed franchise QB. I guess they can’t lock this thread? Our TEAM is terrible! And we gave up a ton for this !!!

I truly can't believe I'm the only one on here who thinks we shouldn't have given up DJ, the 9th pick, a late 2nd rounder, 2024 first rounder, and a 2025 2nd rounder. I'm not saying I'm right, but man, that's a lot to give up. I guess we shall see if it was the right decision. And this has nothing to do with who we drafted, because I do like Bryce. I've said before and I'll say it again. I just think we drafted who we want as a franchise QB a year or 2 too early.

I will once again come back for the bashing.... Yesterday was the exact reason I didn't think giving up what we did to acquire the #1 pick was needed at this time. WE HAVE TOO MANY GAPING HOLES! AND NO DEPTH! We are gonna win 4 or 5 games. We could have done that with Dalton or just about anybody. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we have one 2nd rounder, one 3rd rounder and a 4th next year. As well as a few in the later rounds? What are we gonna do with that? Somebody help me out, because I'm struggling to see what we are trying to do here.

Bryce not seeing the safety once, I’m ok with. But too do it twice in the same game, that’s a problem. I think it’s a huge chance we drafted the 4th or 5th best QB in the draft when it’s all said and done.

Is Bryce scared to run? 1st and 2nd down he had to run for a couple yards and keep us out of 3rd and long!

And for the record.... I've not once said I didn't like Bryce, or didn't think he could be our franchise QB. In my opinion I thought we should have kept DJ, traded down in the draft to acquire more picks. With those picks we could have gotten a few possible starters and built depth. Then we go after our franchise QB.

I clearly stated getting a POSSIBLE franchise QB. Why do we need the #1 pick to get a franchise QB? Maybe you are the ignorant one?

Tremble and Jordan should be really high on the cut list. As well as CJ Henderson

The last 4 drafts have produced 15 QBs that will start week one. So getting a possible franchise QB happens in nearly every draft.
