Who needs a million dollars? Apparently, nobody
Paa Langfart replied to PanthersATL's topic in Huddle Lounge
Not only that but just properly maintaining a home is expensive as hell these days and the older you get, the less you can actually do on your own. Unless you have family in the area willing to do it for you, you have to hire someone else to do the work and that is not cheap. -
For Those Who Think Brooks is too Small to be a 3 Down Back...

I can still remember watching that game - one of my favorite all time. It was a prime time game wasn't it? -

I would add that his sense of balance was of equal importance. Listen to the commentary about it on these plays by guys in the know https://youtu.be/MN6lbJ8jjkw?t=3 -
This. I'm not driving 3 1/2 hours each way to watch a shitty team no matter how fancy the stadium is.

I liked the self serve chocolate fountain at golden corral and watching dirty fisted kids put their hands in it.

Does anyone actually think Bryce will actually be good?
Paa Langfart replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
don't worry PF 69 there's a whole bunch of butt hurt that bryce caused these guys and they'd rather just put fingers in their ears and try to forget about the reaming than have someone bring it up. -
dude sounds like he actually knows the game.

I used to have it until they cracked down on shared accounts. I actually paid for it way back when they sent dvd's by us mail.

Paa Langfart replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I like this- first real receiving threat at that position since G Olsen - and he looks faster than Olsen was. -
I know it’s earlt but Dan THE MAN Morgan is IMPRESSING me
Paa Langfart replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wonder if Marty Hurney is somehow telepathically sending thoughts into Morgans brain -

I was the engineering officer of the watch one time while we were steaming through the Bermuda triangle area when we went cold and dark. One of the younger firemen in the forward fire room had mistakenly left the drain to the deareating feed tank open, before the boiler tech of the watch was able to find and correct it we rapidly began losing water level in the only boiler we had on line and I had them pull fires to avoid catastrophic damage. By that time we had our emergency diesels up and running and it took less than half an hour to reestablish boiler water level check things out and get steam back up. But still some scary times indeed. As far as what the generator was able to power- don't know about merchants but the destroyer I was on had two GM 671 diesels as EDG's and from what I remember they were only able to handle about 60 kw's apiece - barely enough to keep a firepump or two going and get the main plant back up and running. And as someone mentioned what good is steering if you have lost steerageway ? With the size of most containerships the wind is going to be in total control of where it winds up without main propulsion.

Tomlin on Diontae as a Panther gives me some anxiety
Paa Langfart replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
My nephew and his dad are lifetime Steelers fans and I immediately asked them about the trade. Their biggest thought was that Diontae is talented but is definitely a head case. I think this could go either way but from what I have seen of Canales easy going style I am not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling he will be able to keep this dude under wraps. Might need the mighty Morgan to put the hammer down. -
In might be "dribble" down on the other side of the planet but its drivel up here.

Since the panthers.com bot is banned: Dan Morgan Speaks
Paa Langfart replied to thunderraiden's topic in Carolina Panthers
Dan is saying all the right things and I see some positive moves, but it is going to take some time for me to get as excited and as focused as I was about Panthers football during the 1995-2015 seasons. -
Jeremy Fowler: Panthers to go after QB Drew Lock
Paa Langfart replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd rather stick with Dalton than try Drew Locke
