  1. Here is the Tweet for those interested.
  2. Wonder what the numbers are. I know it was supposedly a two year deal though
  3. We've said that about the Saints so many times in the past and yet the fugers still keep finding ways to get who and what they want. It's actually rather annoying as hell too.
  4. This...... really isn't anything to be crying about
  5. called it. knew it wasn't going to stay retired especially after those guys spoiled his announcement
  6. No, I don't want to trade for him. I wasn't a fan of how much poo Houston was wanting for him even before the allegations came out and they seem to still want to try and get that much even now. Having said all this, if the team does trade for him, I wouldn't like having Watson at QB (Unless he gets cleared of each and every allegation against him which given the amount of them likely isn't going to happen) but I'd still like to see the rest of the team succeed. I am a guy that likes to give 2nd chances but Watson's case is a tough one to do that with. He'd have to do a TON of work off the field and even then it'd be difficulty to build back trust.
  7. Lmao, you do have a very good point there
  8. Hell, the mother in this situation doesn't sound much better either. If the claim is correct she essentially agreed to hide who her child's father was for cash. poo, if true, she probably could have gotten even more money in child support had she declined and did put him down as father. Wouldn't surprise me if it was true though knowing Jerry Jones. The league will probably be a much better place once he is no longer the owner of that team (assuming he doesn't get replaced with an equally terrible asshat)
  9. From what I read, I'll have to find the link again, the 3rd round pick next year is a conditional one where if Wentz plays more than 70% of Washington's snaps the Colts get a 2nd round pick instead. Commanders get: Carson Wentz, QB; 2022 second-round pick. Colts get: 2022 third-round pick, 2022 second-round pick, 2023 conditional third-round pick (converts to a second-round pick if Wentz plays 70 percent of snaps).
  10. The irony about it is, I've read that the picks are conditional. Washington gets Wentz and the Colts' 49th pick (moving down 7 picks) and the Colts get Washington's 42nd pick and a 3rd round pick next season with the potential of it turning into a 2nd rounder if Wentz plays more than 70% of the snaps. That and Washington has to take on his full contract removing it from the Colts' books entirely.
  11. I wasn't a fan of those kind of figures even before the allegations happened so definitely don't want to see that now.
  12. Not going to lie, I forgot he was even with the Bills. Last I remember of him was with the Saints. I'd almost be willing to bring him back for the right price though he'd likely get better offers elsewhere.
  13. Agree with you. I'd rather keep him. He's done a good job even with the trash play we've had at QB and OLine. The Huddle, of course, has to be the Huddle and practically beg to trade away any of our drafted talent instead of trying to retain them though.
  14. Technically speaking they are still investigating the whole "Pay to lose" thing in Miami. An NFL player betting on games could be looked upon as along the same style since they could possibly be involved in fixing some of those bets and falling into that "risking the integrity of the game" category. Not saying Calvin WAS but I can see where the argument comes from.
  15. So I'm not too familiar with college terms. What is considered a "Super Senior"?
  16. Let's be honest, I think most of us, regardless of the current team's success, would probably take interviews for a promotion from an assistant to the actual job. Well....... unless it was a job for the Lions that is.
  17. I still somewhat follow the Vikings since I used to be a fan of theirs before the Panthers were created. They have one of the same weaknesses that we do (just not as bad as ours) which is the OLine. Cousins isn't my first choice of QB's BUT if we actually attempt to try and fix our OLine I'd be interested in seeing what he could do with better line. That being said, I could also see the possibility of us doing something stupid, trading for him and not fixing the line and getting him killed like all the other QB's that have come here recently.
  18. He certainly sounds interesting based on what he says. Just out of curiosity, what round do you expect him to go in?
  19. "The NFL holds copyrights to the Roman numerals used as Super Bowl identifiers." That actually really sound like a shitty reason to deny them the ability to use it.
  20. Honestly, I want to reach the point where this team is considered a consistent playoff team with valid chances to go deep into them or to win it all. Going "All In", yeah, it can definitely help to buy you a championship (combined with a little luck of course) but it generally doesn't lead to being there consistently. That being said, I can't really say I could really fault teams on doing it either.
  21. I hear ya though I do still miss having a reliable hands guy (at least as a WR. I remember how terrible he was as a Kick returner lol). It kind of feels like anytime we get a person to be our reliable hands guy we end up losing them somehow (like trading Dan Arnold to the Jaguars).
  22. I mean, Arians really didn't have to do much "Coaching" while he had Tom Brady as his QB. Depending on what happens this offseason we will see how his coaching is now that he doesn't have Tom on offense.
  23. As for the topic on hand, I'll pass on trading DJ. He's our current best receiver and as others have pointed out he's had multiple 1000 yard seasons with a very lackluster QB's and with a OLine that struggles to give WR's any time to get into their routes before getting the QB killed. They'd have to make one hell of an offer for me to agree to trade him.
