    I’m not even acknowledging the vocal minority who actually wanted Wilks at this point. They have no argument. 6-6 is not good to be a shoe in for one of these jobs. The narrative has gotten insane.

    I’m not saying he’s my top choice but the Moore hysteria has gone a bit far. His like first year he was being billed as the next wonder kid and obviously he maybe hasn’t reached that. But four four years he’s had a top 6 offense. And sure it’s a talented roster but I don’t think it would be as egregious as some do. Also being an HC is entirely different from an OC.

    Both Wilks or Reich are just boring hires to me. Like, I’ll be floored if either is the man to bring a Lombardi to our franchise. And like, I know we feel so far away right now. But if that’s not the goal wtf are we doing here

    I just can’t imagine coaches are analyzing the current situation and acting like we are a uniquely bad job. It’s not perfect but none of these situations ever are. If we get shunned by Johnson and Steichen it could be a damning indictment on Tepper.

    Nope. It does feel longer than usual but I was looking a few days ago and last year the first hire wasn't made until like 1/27 or something I think. But yeah I'm getting so antsy lmao.

    The thing is if it’s going to be a disaster, I want it to be a disaster in the form of a 2-15 season that gets you the #1 pick. Hopefully in a year with a franchise QB to select. A Wilks disaster I’m afraid will look like consecutive 7-10 seasons. Not good enough to be in actual contention, and not bad enough to secure franchise altering talent.

    I honestly don’t know if she has actual sourcing or not, but Verge said on twitter earlier that if we don’t get Payton it will probably be Steichen or Dorsey.
