  1. WR and DL Wide receiver group has so many questions, a TMJ/Mingo breakout could be huge but obviously not counting on it. We're thin at EDGE outside 53, and even our iDL. I remain adamant we overrate 95 because of his draft positioning, I just am not seeing a player that's making a difference on every game. How many times did we say his name after the TNF game last year? I may catch some heat here but I think it's a big year for him and I'm far from being sold he's a second contract player for us. I've seen flashes, but year four and it's time to have a Pro Bowl caliber season. Not sure why so many are worried about LB. Shaq is automatically a better LB than anyone Evero had in Den last year (and I'm far from a Shaq stan) and he got great play out of his LB's last year. Bell & Woods, should see Chinn playing more on the second level this year too. Want to see if Brandon Smith has a role this year.
  2. I also agree acting like only big RB’s are able to get tough yards is hilarious and really not a thing at all
  3. Camerun Peoples, he dominated at App State. A true workhorse power back that can make dudes miss in the open field. I think his biggest ? Mark to finding a role in this league is his athleticism/speed. 4.61 at the combine. But we see UDFA RBs make instant impact all the time now, I’ve watched him a ton as I’m an App alum. I think he’s supremely talented and as I said earlier I wouldn’t totally be blown away if he was our #2 guy at some point this season.
  4. Turn on Cam People’s film honestly I really wouldn’t be too stunned if he is our #2 back at some point this season
  5. Considering we were just one game away from winning our division a year ago, how do you guys think our peers in the south did in the draft? The Saints are the early betting favorites to win the division, but I feel like most pundits would agree that our division is kind of a crapshoot because of how poor it is. We'll see how Carr plays, but they hit the lines early in the draft and I do think Kendre Miller could be an instant impact. I'm not going to lie seeing Bijan twice a year scares me. I think he's the truth and will be an absolute bellcow in this league for a long time. Not many of their other picks move me, and I still am not scared of a Desmond Ridder lead team. He looked atrocious last year. Think the Bucs have had a very poor draft, and they may have the worst QB situation in the league. I know this is the most optimistic we'll feel between now and September but I legitimately think if Bryce has a good rookie season we are winning this division with 9-10 wins.
  6. Yeah he was someone I would have been okay with taking a flier on today. Should be a priority udfa if he doesn't hear his name called.
  7. Wouldn’t mind a trade back to get an extra pick today. Some decent secondary talent on the board, always like adding a day 3 CB. That being said this first pick today is 100% a random ST linebacker isn’t it?
  8. In no ways am I saying this guy is going to be good but at least watch some film, I’ve watched him all morning and he has powerful hands, more bend than I expected, and an impressive motor. I’m confident Evero already has an idea for the role he’s going to place him in. Let’s just see what he can do lmao
  9. I love the exploding popularity of the draft but one of the biggest drawbacks of its new popularity is that random users on CarolinaHuddle think every team has the same draft board as the one they saw on twitter by @IcyDraftSzn. There are some analysts out there who do great work on this event but we have absolutely zero clue how actual teams big boards look, especially after those first 15-20 picks.
  10. I can't imagine waking up on a Saturday morning and just already having your whole day ruined because of a player that was drafted 80th overall. I agree from what I read I'm not sure I totally understand the move but I'm just vibing and gonna hope he ends up being good!
  11. Yeah I can't imagine a more hilariously stupid idea. Way to hurt the confidence of your new franchise QB and this team has holes everywhere and zero first round pick next year.
  12. I mean, edge rusher is a position of supreme value. Especially someone like Anderson that should be a perennial double digit sack guy, it just doesn't make sense for a Texans team still littered with holes. If that was the final piece maybeeeee, but it's not
  13. Trading back would be ideal but I'm sure every team is thinking that right now.
  14. Count me in as not being quite as high on what the Texans did. Stroud was a great pick but they gave up a lot for Anderson, and I say this as someone who had Anderson as the draft's #1 player. But they gave up their first next year which could easily wind up being a top five pick.
  15. I mean I can't blame him. These dudes are all hyper competitive and believe in their abilities. But he might have to accept his best bet right now is to try and prove a worthy backup and maybe an opportunity opens one day. I wish him nothing but the best but I don't think anyone is giving a seventh for him right now
