  1. He just seems so vanilla. This is just one small example but even the thing about him not cussing to his players? I'm not even lying that is a red flag to me. These are grown ass men. I'm convinced we need to fire him and just get back to the only thing that has worked for us. Find a tough, rigid, blue collar defensive coordinator that will come in on day 1 and change the culture. I have plenty of critiques for Ron but I'll never forget the clip of him just lighting the team on fire at halftime of that Pittsburgh game. We need that in the worst way I think. Toughness, no excuses, culture-setting type of attitude. Lou Anarumo of the Bengals immediately comes to my mind. Frank is just so soft and vanilla in a million different ways.
  2. I just don’t see how this is on Bryce lol. Mingo didn’t create an inch of separation
  3. It’s a bummer. I love this team and the good seasons always felt magic to me, I’m not sure when we ever get one again. There’s not a single bright spot. Not one. Not one anywhere
  4. I try and try to find any way out of this. This is probably the worst collection of players I can ever remember us having. Even 2010 we had Smitty, Kalil, TD, Gamble, Gross, etc. Not a single player on this team as good as any of that group. This roster is so bad and I don’t see a way it’s fixed in the next 2-3 seasons even if you nail every move which we know we won’t. Outside of just stumbling into an elite coach I don’t see a quick route out. We are the new Browns/Lions.
  5. Where this argument falls apart is remembering his line at Bama was the same size lmao
  6. There was a bidding war. We know for a fact the Panthers, Texans, and Raiders we’re all trying to get to 1 to draft Young.
  7. So link something. Anything. That conversation he had back in January isn’t enough. He was just as friendly with Stroud
  8. I’m not saying you don’t have points. But you’re ignoring loads of leaks/storylines we got from the media this entire draft cycle to come away with any other thought. Nearly every insider said Bryce was close to unanimously seen as QB1 in this draft. All this talk about our owner “forcing” this pick with zero evidence to back it up. Really, there actually were dozens of stories about the Texans not wanting to draft Stroud but the owner more or less forced a QB. Worked out decently well for them. No one would be complaining if that had happened to us. I just can’t get mad at the Bryce pick because I’m confident nearly every team in need of a QB (Houston, Indianapolis, Vegas) all would have taken Bryce first. poo is so unpredictable
  9. Y’all are just looking for someone to blame for why we drafted the wrong QB. Reality is 31 other teams probably had Bryce firmly above CJ in their evaluations. Sometimes poo just happens. Sucks we didn’t do that first trade where Houston would have gotten 1 and we would have gotten 2.
  10. He absolutely never said this. I hate Tepper but y’all are just making stuff up.
  11. Without improvement there’s nothing from stopping us from moving on in as a little as 2 years like the Jets did with Wilson
  12. They don’t even act like they think they can win
  13. Speaking of WNBA. I’d much rather be watching that than this team
  14. This is dumb/pointless without telling us who is who. Do you think we are really going to sit there and do all the research to figure out who is who? No chance, just give us the names so we can try to figure out what point you're making
  15. https://x.com/shauncore/status/1715528434107990342?s=46&t=xpgkpbdmCQHLrpIYBMrHOw I don’t exactly know how this data is tracked/followed, but I do think this kind of confirms some of the observations made throughout the fanbase. Bryce has shown plenty of accuracy in the short to intermediate range, spreads the ball around and usually puts it in a good spot. As a team, our biggest issue is that we never consistently have players open. I still want to see him push the ball accurately deep at some point, but Jesus man get our guy some help.
  16. I know what you mean. I graduated college in 2018 and my dream was always to own PSLs. So a few years into my professional career I was able to buy two. Of course every season has been worse than the one previous. Obviously if we are ever good again the price will be well worth it. We’re just so far from that currently. I have zero desire to go to these games right now
  17. You pretty much nailed it. Cam was a historic rookie QB and clearly had talent to elevate an entire unit from day 1. Bryce, while a great prospect, was never going to be that guy. A massive failure by our entire FO thinking he could be someone you drop in on day 1 and elevate an otherwise horrific supporting cast into league average territory. None of this means he’s a bust or can’t be a franchise QB. But we have a poo ton of work to do to improve his situation so he can hit his ceiling here and I don’t trust us to help him get there
  18. I’m not going to lie right now I can’t envision anything much better than like this version of Jared Goff. Like that is the ceiling I could still kind of see. The physical tools just aren’t there.
  19. I remember hearing this. It's difficult to understate just how huge a player like that would be on our offense right now.
  20. We could have had Justin Jefferson or CeeDee Lamb instead of Derrick Brown. One of our worst first round picks in franchise history considering how good of a class that was.
  21. He doesn’t even look remotely close to connecting on a single pass further than 20 yards
  22. Yeah, we’re rapidly descending down a path of being this decades Lions/Browns. So frustrating man because we all remember how fun this was the seasons we were good
  23. After watching a Dolphin mock his celebration. He does not care man
  24. Yeah, the inability to throw it deep is very concerning. I am hoping with better protection it may improve. But we will be so easy to stop as long as he can't drive the ball down the field
