it's official gerrard will be leaving liverpool at the end of this season and will most likely be going to the MLS

so some highly reputable sources are beginning to say the gerrard thing is true, including di marzio. apparently gerrard will finish the rest of this season with liverpool, then move to galaxy in the summer

I still think all these rumors are complete bullshit, but so many sources on twitter saying Gerrard is off to MLS real soon. I can't see us selling now when Brendan is set on using him so much, but the rumored team is LA Galaxy. Again I think it is total bullshit but some big transfer sources are even saying there's something behind it now too. That would be shocking, can't see it being true

I'm rooting for Brendan but it's not a good sign to see him continue playing Gerrard to accustom to what Gerrard wants. Could have just been a coincidence but we were great against Swansea, best we've looked all year. He shouldn't have changed the lineup at all, but he did he had to put his precious captain back in and we looked infinitely worse. Gerrard hasn't worked in that deep playmaking role all season yet he continues to play him there. That's a bad sign,he had no reason to change that starting lineup except Skrtel because he couldn't play. Just when I think Brendan is getting things figured out... ugh. Honestly wouldn't complain if Gerrard doesn't get a new contract. He's obviously a legend and he's still a master on set pieces and a good passer, especially when playing further up the pitch. But he's just not helping us other than that. Shocking how much slower we looked in the midfield today, and I'm sure the players are tired but there's not an excuse for that kind of a drop-off. Lucas and Gerrard has not worked all year, it never will work but Brendan won't learn. And Balotelli not being on the bench!!! HILARIOUS. I can't even fathom what was running through Brendan's head when he made the call on that one, Balotelli hasn't been great yet but he has looked better in recent stints and he's a hell of a lot more talented and dangerous than Lambert or Borini. Frustrating can't even describe it. Gifted 2 penalties at home against the last place team and we were lucky to get a draw. Just when you think we can start gearing up for a run at top-4 with Studge coming back we drop 2 massive points. Bleh, at least we aren't Everton.

not even playing in his normal position either lol, some of these young guys are really turning the corner... wonder what reason rodgers will give when stevie g just waltzes back into the lineup. best henderson has looked all year today, and it was without stevie. i love stevie and i won't even say he's a liability or anything, but he's not making us any better. but i'll give credit where credit is due, and rodgers deserves a lot of credit right now. team has clearly improved and it's because he found a formation that matches his personnel. only 5 points off of top 4, and rodgers teams are always better the second half. So according to multiple sources on twitter Liverpool is close to signing Berahino for £23.5m. Berahino is a very talented young player but he's just not what we need right now for that price. He's very raw and I just don't see him getting us any closer to making a run at top 4. That's a poo ton of money for a guy like him too. Would rather sign Bony

WE ARE SO BAD

yup we had 27 shots and had 63% possession. i actually have to give some credit to rogers, he's found a formation that's working. this team is looking infinitely better creativity-wise than they were a month or two ago. just really really missing our striker and we have a terrible goalie and defense. that's why we drew yesterday. with studge we win, with a good goalie we win (poo, probably with miggs himself in goal we win), or better defenders and we win. Our defense is shockingly bad but to be honest jones still should have stopped AT LEAST one of those arsenal goals. such a frustrating result for us. however next 3 all winable, let's hope we get some points then. just so frustrating yesterday we looked completely content once we got the score level even though we were superior. last year as soon as we leveled suarez would have grabbed the ball from the back, and tell them to stop celebrating because they were gonna score another fuging goal. i've never seen any player in any sport that was as obsessed with winning as suarez was last year. players say winning is everything, and a lot of them mean it.... but the way that dude played last year, it was beautiful. all he fuging cared about was winning, obviously we miss suarez world class player should have been a ballon d'or nominee but we really miss the obsession with winning he brought too.
