  1. Lol no chance, they'd 100% trade. Lawrence is the least of their problems
  2. Vibes are so good right now man. Sailing to #1 overall. Defensive foundation in place. A new treasure chest of assets to add to the roster. New franchise QB months away. For the first time in years it feels like we actually have a plan.
  3. Even by saying this you’re ignoring years of of data that prove my point. Besides AP I really can’t think of an RB that’s performed at an all pro level into their 30s.
  4. This is a fantastic haul for an RB that’s 26. I love this move as he just realistically did not fit our timeline and we needed picks in the worst way
  5. Just came to say that it is absolutely insane how many of you write a player off due to the school they attend. I mean I know internet forums aren't exactly a haven for rocket scientists, but I can't imagine being so dull to actually think that the school they attend means ANYTHING. I remember people said the same thing about USC WR's. Until JuJu came into the league, and Amon Ra St. Brown, and Drake London, etc. Neither are Andrew Luck, or maybe not even Trevor Lawrence-type prospects, but Young and Stroud are both very very good QB prospects that you feel good about taking #1 overall in like 75% of drafts. At this point I'm not even going to attach myself to one or the other, just bring me one of the two and I'll be very excited.
  6. Preach. Why tf are you burning a roster spot on him? Should have found someone else weeks ago when Sam first got hurt.
  7. Man this offense is excruciating PJ has been around for three years now. If you always knew he was going to be this limited if he ever came in there's zero purpose in giving him a roster spot in the first place. Find a backup that at least gives you a chance of making something happen further down the field.
  8. In what world is that not a popular choice? Who would complain with Ryans?
  9. I definitely understand the allure of getting a flashy, up-and-coming coordinator and I'd love if we went that route if Rhule doesn't right this ship. But I really don'y think Dan Quinn would be the most disastrous hire. I guarantee you the perception around him would be entirely different if they had closed the deal on SB51. Even his "down" seasons, they were 7-9 both times - hardly a catastrophe. I wouldn't be throwing parades in the streets if he were the guy, but with the right coordinators I think you could do far worse. Essentially I guarantee you at least a few of these coordinators you all are swooning over wouldn't do as well as Quinn. Hell I bet the Broncos are currently wishing they had chosen Quinn over the flashy young coordinator who looks a disaster so far. I also totally understand the shoot for the stars mentality, roll the dice you find the next elite mind even if the chances are small. Just a different perspective.
  10. It's a massive problem and looks like arguably the league's worst right now. It was fun to get a win today but nothing about today's win can be relied upon to replicate. We scored on a fumble recovery, they missed two FG's, we had a deflection INT, etc. Very rarely will you beat anyone in this league with offensive displays as bad as we saw this afternoon. I was at the game and I sit high, one perk of being at the games is you can really get a view of the entire field and every play as it's developing. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like no one is getting open. We know we have receivers that are at least capable, so I'm chalking it up to a schematic issue currently. It's easy to cast blame on Mayfield, and he missed some early throws again, but on a lot of these plays I was struggling to find where he was supposed to go with the ball. Even the Saints occasionally would dial up a play that was basically an easy pitch and catch toss for Jameis for 6-7 yards. We don't even have that in our bag, everything seems like a chore when it comes to moving the ball through the air. If they don't figure it out quick I struggle to see how we win more than 3 games.
  11. Right now. I think we need an entire house cleaning. Wouldn’t even hate promoting Dan Morgan to give us some stability there and allow him to start trading a lot of our young players for picks, get a head start on the rebuild
  12. He’s had like two good games his whole career. He’s a bust and is stratospheres away from earning a second contract. I’d trade him for a fourth tomorrow
  13. I would love to see CJ have a great season. That’s one move I still kind of defend, as he was clearly better than any prospect you’re finding in round 3. Would love to see him put it all together
  14. Lol the DT we took seventh OVERALL getting worked by a rookie from the FCS. No surprises there!
  15. There’s clearly no developmental plan in place for Corral and it’s infuriating And as I mentioned in another thread, Bakers opening drive only stalled because of a snap mishap and a miscommunication on a route with a WR. Which makes sense because he’s still only been with these dudes for a few weeks. And it is maddening we’re still splitting reps when it’s obvious Baker needs as much work with the 1’s as possible to work those kinks out before CLE
  16. The jerseys we wear the most, coincidentally, are the most difficult to buy. On the online team store they only sell white CMCs and Chinn's. I mean, I'm not opposed to maybe buying one of those but there are other players I'd rather have. You can't even customize a white jersey. Anyone know the reasoning behind this? As a PSL owner, I really want a white jersey especially with so many of our home games front loaded this year.
  17. I will bet anyone on here $100 that Baker Mayfield is the starting QB Week 1. Is he the franchise savior? No. Is he far and away the best option we have right now? Yes.
  18. Could definitely be a tactic to get us to give up more than we need to.
  19. They’re probably fine to hold him into the preseason or even regular season and wait for someone to get hurt
