  1. I've seen the last thing a few times but I only saw him throw two deep balls? The one could have been complete if lazy ass TMJ didn't stop running his route. Other one he missed for sure.
  2. He looked rough and scared to take chances but I also think the film could tell a new story. I think by far our most glaring issue is our receivers do not get open.
  3. See I actually feel okay about this because knowing what we know about Bryce and how much extra work he puts in when it comes to breaking down film I really think he'll get that cleaned up asap. The glaring concern with Bryce and/or the offense as a whole is we look incapable of pushing the ball 10+ yards down the field. Everything was underneath today
  4. I mean being a fan is so fun. It may be 10 years away but one day we'll be good again and it'll be worth it. I've gotten so used to losing though I kind of just laugh at it now.
  5. Yes, todays performance actually reminded me of 2010. I was too young in 01 seeing as I was born in 96 I wasn't really watching football yet
  6. This has nothing to do with the Bryce trade which I'm still fine with. Let's go through the list: Jaycee Horn - always hurt Terrace Marshall - can't be bothered enough to even try finishing a route, also always hurt Tremble -useless Corrall - out of the league already These are only the day two picks, not a single day 3 pick he's made has made any sort of impact either. Let's keep going though. Traded a day two pick for CJ Henderson. Signed Miles Sanders who's fumble changed the entire game today. Is playing hardball with by far the best player on the team after turning down a lucrative trade package to move him. Again I'm still fine with the Bryce trade as I obviously think he's someone we can build the future of our franchise around. But he's made multiple other high leverage moves/picks that have been nothing short of disastrous so far. Without serious turnaround/growth from this roster he should absolutely get canned come January.
  7. Not much else to say. One of the worst performances not just in our franchise history, but one of the worst games I've seen from any NFL team ever. Defense looked alright at times, but even they had the benefit of playing maybe the worst QB in the league. Jaycee Horn is already hurt again, and our only other really promising player is the one who our current GM is playing hardball with. There are some okay players on this team but there is no one I'd categorize as elite. No one in the tier of Cam, Luke, Olsen, Davis type of players that we have had in the past. Even the players we have that are good the Ws/Ls don't seem to matter too much to them. None of these guys appear bothered to try. Bryce was awful but in his defense I don't think we have a receiver capable of getting open down the field right now.
  8. Bryce should maybe make sure he knows where Bates is here
  9. And if you read the article, Reich even said they've challenged Bryce to attempt more difficult throws to see what he can/can't get away with. Which makes perfect sense
  10. He also lambasted the Hornets for drafting LaMelo Ball. He's one of the dumbest people in the world.
  11. To be fair, we had impossibly good luck in terms of OL injury luck last year. Aside from that last game where Corbett tore his ACL, up until that point our starting OL didn't miss a SINGLE SNAP. That's unbelievably good luck and very improbable to be replicated. Hope guys like Zavala, Mays are ready to be called on if needed. Also, all the poo he got two years ago, Cam Erving is a solid reserve swing tackle.
  12. I’m aware, I simply said it’s where I valued him. We always knew he was a DL that is a nonfactor in the pass game. It’s hard for me to value that in the first round. I wanted Lamb or Wirfs the night of that draft.
  13. It's pointless to talk about right now, we need to see how he plays this season. Again, the new coaches have spoken very highly of him so maybe this is his true breakout season. Right now I'd offer him around 12M AAV and if he thinks he can find more elsewhere let him go find out. All I know is I'm firm in my belief that so far we have overrated him because of where he was drafted. We're a better team because of him, but he's far from irreplaceable.
  14. We’re trying to act like he’s someone that he isn’t solely because of draft positioning. Had we taken him in like Round 2 (where I had him graded) no one is acting like we have a potentially 15-20m/per year player on our hands.
  15. Dexter Lawrence is doubled all the time and makes it happen. I’m not saying Brown isn’t good I’m just saying he is not a premium talent. Donald is doubled all the time and makes it happen also.
  16. Quinnen Williams is a DT, as is Jeffrey Simmons, as is Daron Payne, as is Dexter Lawrence, as is Javon Hargrave, etc. All have track records of producing 7-8 sacks per year, again, that is more than Brown has collected for his entire career. I understand Brown's strengths are against the run, but in the modern NFL the value on that is limited. Hell, look at we are paying Shy Tuttle to do that. Any DL that isn't rushing the QB isn't worth anywhere near $20m/year. The 12-15 range? Sure we can talk. Apparently this staff loves DB so maybe an actual breakout year is on the way, but this is a bad take. The premier DT's get to the passer.
  17. Williams had twice the number of sacks that Brown did last year... for his entire career. Q dub is galaxies away from 95
  18. First few rows of the upper deck aren't nosebleeds at all. I actually prefer the upper deck, better view of the whole field and it has more of a working class feel which makes it rowdier up there lmao. I'd almost suggest two or three rows up though. Pending on how old your grandson is, I swear I feel like some of the first few rows might have some sort of gate or barrier that I could see it being difficult to see over if you're super short. Maybe I'm dreaming this my PSL's are on row 23 so idk.
