This. He definitely showed a lot in the final stretch of the season. Enough to actually make me excited to see him next season. He looked like a legit MVP caliber QB in the final game. That's exciting. But we need to see a lot more than just a handful of games before I'm ready to say we definitely have our long-term answer at QB. I sure hope we do.
You have Linville saying stuff like this. Be happy with that and let’s see how next season goes. I agree 100%. Hope, but let’s see 9 stay consistent.

He made a move on Sunday that really impressed me. I think you’ll see vast improvement next year from him. You can tell he really cares about getting better.

Did the Jags forfeit their pick?

I like both of them and hope they both do well and meet in the Super Bowl one day.

Absolutely love that dude. So excited to have him on the roster. Great, great pickup as a UDFA.

This win could very well create momentum going into the off-season. We have seen it happen before in Panthers history.
The most important aspect of the last 2 months was seeing that we have a potential top 10-15 starting QB. It doesn’t guarantee a good start to next season, but the psychological impacts of (a) winning and (b) having confidence in a starting QB can definitely have a bearing on next season.

He definitely looked like Bama Bryce today. He was moving very smoothly and seeing the field well. Get him a speed WR and solidify the OL and we have something to work with on offense.
Everything else should go towards improving the defense.

That was fun.

I thought they both played well. “Prince outlived Mike Jack!”

I would rather make a change, but I am okay if Tepper wants to let Canales make the call. That would be a very good sign actually.

They both still have a lot to prove. At this point, it is impossible to know which will be better.

I’d like 7-9 wins, but it’s too early to make predictions.

I think next year will be the telling season of which direction we should go. I’m not sold, but I’m hopeful. We will see.

Both have decent defenses (Minn has a very good D) and true #1 WRs to complement their other weapons. The Panthers are sorely lacking in both areas. That said, they played respectably for the most part the last two months. Let's see if they can improve the defense and shore up the offense in the off-season.
It is funny how Darnold and Mayfield found success, though. Both seem to be good guys, so I wish them well.

I like Stroud. His OL is horrible and would make any QB look bad. He looks just like Bryce did last year and early this year.

We absolutely cannot head into next season with BY, Andy, and Plummer as the room again.
Draft a high upside guy in the middle to late rounds and sign a vet reclamation project like Fields and let them duke it out in training camp. It may hurt Bryce's feelings but so be it.
I’d be okay with a vet other than Dalton, but not wasting a pick on a mid round QB. We need all those for defense or a speed WR.

I hope we win out and win the next 17 next year. Winning is nice.

It's too bad our decision-makers didn't have a crystal ball, and all of you did. I'm not sure why you aren't GMs. It's a travesty.
It's also too bad that the final judgement on the success of a draft class is not made after one season.

No worries, brother. That is what marriage is about, in sickness and in health. You'd do the same for her.
Prayers for full recovery!

Right now, the defense is the bigger issue.

Dude is so cool. He will be a major fan fav if he learns to consistently catch the ball.

Typically, by this time of year I am hoping to finish the year with the worst record possible for draft purposes, but this team can use some validation they are on the right path. Finishing the year hot could very well spill over to next season. We have seen that happen before. Let’s win out!

lol I wouldn’t go that far yet. Let’s see how the off-season goes.

Yeah, I’m about as positive as I can be for a 3 win team. It seems the future is bright for the first time in a while.

Would You Trade Draft Capital for a #1 WR???
in Carolina Panthers

Probably would cost at least 2 seconds for Wilson IMO, but likely a first.
