As long as Canales wants to keep him, I agree.

If Canales wants him, he stays. He is under contract. Force his way out? How, by throwing a temper tantrum? He is well payed and his defense has played well considering the injuries and a sucky offense. I don't think this will be an issue once he and Canales sit down and talk (if they haven't already).

Yep - my wife last night said, “He’s still playing?” Amazing how healthy he has been since he left. At the time we traded him, we weren’t getting a 1. He couldn’t stay on the field. -

Correct. I think the poster meant he is a fellow Latino. That is a cool aspect of this hire. Coach Canales seems to take that to heart and cherish his role as someone who can be a role model in that regard.
