  1. I hope they keep him. Horn will lock his old arse down
  2. WG probably has the hottest wife on the team, so there is that.
  3. Probably my favorite song because of the positive feelings I have had over the years when it was sung in the stadium.
  4. The joke will be on them if Jones turns out to be better than Lance, which is not a huge stretch considering how much better Jones was in college. Lance is a huge gamble. I'll admit he has intriguing talent, but so did many other QB prospects who flopped who were way more proven than Lance.
  5. That's the thing - we were not terrible. 8 one-score losses. We upgraded in a lot of areas, but the bottom line is how does Darnold do.
  6. Watch him turn out to be the best QB of the draft. lol
  7. I love Cam, but I don't think any teams will be clamoring for him to be the role model for their rookie QB. Hard worker and great player in his time, but not quite the fit for what you are talking about. Teddy would be, but not Cam IMO.
  8. Kind of doubt that one of the best offensive minds in the history of college football failed to practice red zone drills. The failure to score had more to do with the lack of ability/talent. Not just Teddy. TE, RB, OL, etc.
  9. I don't know the meaning of it to him, but he has an 8-ball tattoo on his forearm, so the number fits.
  10. 9-8 and just missing the playoffs, with a lot of excitement going into 2022. Year 3 could be the real breakthrough year IMO.
  11. Need to add another game to those W-L records.
  12. Dude was like a superhero in the Super Bowl. Dan and Luke are 2 of the best to have ever played the game.
  13. Would be good as a stop gap - and a pretty good one - until the young guns are really. Obviously we would not sign him to a long term deal.
  14. Well, I will just have to give Fitt & team the benefit of the doubt on this one. They have earned it after this draft.
  15. This guy must be a stud. Not sure I have seen a long snapper drafted before.
  16. Mel and the others are raving about the Panthers' draft, even saying it may be the best. They just talked about the Panthers for the last 5-6 minutes straight! I don't think I have ever seen that happen. I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone.
  17. This is actually my prediction that I made a week or 2 ago. I would only do it for something like a 2 this year and a 1 next year, though.
  18. Indeed - seems like it should have been this week instead of next.
  19. You might get a next year's 1st depending on who is trading up.
  20. As much as it sounds nice to say this will not impact Fields' draft stock, it has to play a factor. I hope he drops to 8 and some team gives us a haul to move up to take him.
  21. Also, can you imagine what NE would give up to come up from 15 to 8 if Lance and/or Fields are still on the board? We could still get one of the top 3 OTs or one of the top CBs, along with a haul from NE. Would be tempting.
  22. Man, if Chase is there at 8, he would be hard to turn down. Imagine that WR corps! If you let Chase slip by and grab Slater or whomever, I could see regretting that for years to come. If Chase is still there and you really do not want to make that pick, I would try to to trade down and get equal (or better) value with more picks. Heck, if you drop to 10 or 11ish, you still may get a shot at Slater.
  23. Yeah, he was never the same after the injury. Seems like a good guy, though. We should probably move on.
