  1. He is a liability against the run. Does not mean he isn't a good player overall. I want to keep him, but you have to have players around him who can stop the run.
  2. The Browns are going to win some games and then get DW back. We have a must win game next week if we want to get things back on track.
  3. I think we’ve found a QB. Now, just need to find a defense.
  4. 27-23 good guys Special teams will play a big part. We improved there a lot this offseason (other than questions at kicker, obviously). CMC looks like his old self and Baker does enough to keep things honest. The defense gets tired in the second half, but holds on. No matter the outcome, I think this team will be much improved by season's end. Whether that will be enough to make the playoffs, I don't know.
  5. Glad the rain chances for tomorrow are going down. We will need to be able to throw the ball to keep it balanced. Cleveland was not going to throw much anyway.
  6. Good question. I had CMC as a keeper from last year. I have had him since the 1000/1000 season. I hope his - and my - luck turns around this year. I was a tad surprised that Chubb was still there when I picked in the second. Then I took Josh Allen in the 3rd.
  7. I like the fire on the field. The off the field stuff...no. Either way, I don't care much.
  8. Chubb & CMC on my FF team. I am hoping for many TDs from both...and a Panthers win, of course.
  9. Yeah, TB12 is not used to getting hit. He may rethink retirement when that starts happening.
  10. GMF is usually kind to the Panthers. Is Kyle related to Gill? Gill Brandt has always been nice to the Panthers as well.
  11. I do the same thing. Took my wife out to lunch on Saturday and got home to watch the State/ECU game about 2. I caught up to the game live in the second half. I’ll do the same with the Panthers games because we get home from church well into the game.
  12. I was thinking about this today, and I agree. I think we will still be able to pressure the QB at times, but not as well as last year. I will trade that for better rush D, though.
  13. Famous, er, Infamous Jameis is not taking that team that far.
  14. Top-graded Patriots from Week 3 of the preseason: DL Henry Anderson: 89.5 OLB Matt Judon: 84.2 CB Jack Jones: 79.3 OLB Anfernee Jennings: 75.1 OL William Sherman: 72.4 LG Cole Strange: 71.7 C David Andrews: 71.2
  15. ESPN: The Jets made a shrewd trade to acquire Anderson during the 2018 draft, sending a seventh-round pick to the Indianapolis Colts. He flourished in New York, recording a career-high seven sacks in the final year of his rookie contract. Anderson parlayed his big year into a three-year, $25.2 million contract, with $17 million in guarantees over the first two years. Since the contract, his sack production dropped dramatically -- only 1.5 over the past 29 games. He played every game in 2020, finishing with 42 total tackles. Anderson recorded the third-highest run-stuff percentage among defensive players with at least 500 snaps, according to NFL NextGen Stats.
  16. Twitter comments say this guy is good at stopping the run. That's a start, I guess.
  17. The players clearly love Rhule. The fans will like him too if he starts winning. Otherwise, his next college can love him. Time for the "Rhule of 3" to take effect.
  18. Makes sense with CLE starting a backup QB and playing on the road.
  19. Not hard to see us finishing ahead of ATL & NO. Now with TB having OL injuries and Tom having some issues at home...who knows. No one saw it coming in 2003.
  20. He will have a much better OL here.
