  1. I think if the Panthers do not take Stroud they will look back on it with regret. He is the most accurate QB. Not sure how you can watch that Georgia game and not see how well that translates to the NFL. Young has been a good college QB, but will not last long at 190 lbs in the NFL.
  2. Did you see the other deep balls?
  3. He maybe completed 1 deep ball. 2 were dropped, but he overthrew at least 3. The one that hit the roof was obviously inaccurate. Also, it was significantly abbreviated compared to CJ's.
  4. Young is struggling with the deep ball.
  5. I’d imagine it’ll be much of the same. They may run out of energy by the end of the trip, though.
  6. I thought that was a really cool exchange. It shows the potential connection those 2 could have. Not that it wouldn’t be the same with any of the other prospects. McCown just seems like a good dude.
  7. CJ was very clutch in the UGa game. He had the game won if the kicker does his job. Also, if OSU had Alabama”s defense, they would have easily won it all, including the Michigan game. Did you see all the big plays OSU’s defense gave up in that game? It was ridiculous. I do appreciate your post, though. It was well thought out and humble. If we do draft Young, I will support him 100%.
  8. I literally just told my wife that....wait. Maybe I shouldnt have said that.
  9. What if he was 5’8”, 150? I mean, where do we draw the line? 185-190 lbs is incredibly slight for an NFL QB, even if you can live with the height.
  10. That's awesome man! Get some good rest and do some internet QB scouting for us while you're recovering.
  11. Heard Todd McShay discussing how quickly Stroud processes and then shift to hit WRs with dimes. We have not seen that around here in a long time.
  12. Someone said, "Size is a skill". Kind of a funny way to put it, but you get the point. It absolutely matters. Doesn't mean it is a disqualifier, but it plays a part.
  13. CJ had to close 1 eye to throw the ball when his contacts went bad. He will fit right in to our recent QB history. Just kidding - that is amazing what CJ has overcome. Breaks your heart to know he has had all this success and his father could not be there for him. I hope he can truly forgive his father (sounds like he has) and learn to have a relationship with him under the circumstances.
  14. Stroud clearly takes loses hard and takes ownership. I have noticed that in the interviews/videos.
