Albert Breer's insights on the Panthers and other Top 10 teams
Wolfcop replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think he is making some assumptions based on what he put in that article. Even so, he admits its not a done a done deal, like you said. -
Peter King: Bryce Young inching closer to Carolina
Wolfcop replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
If the Texans are opposed to taking Stroud, things could get very interesting with a trade. Hopefully it would be worth that #12 to them. Could you imagine?? -
ESPN’s Matt Miller inside info on Panthers #1 pick

I certainly get that. He is tiny and that will be more pronounced on the next levels -
Peter King: Bryce Young inching closer to Carolina

Seems like a smokescreen to me. Guess we will find out in 2 weeks. -
Peter King: Bryce Young inching closer to Carolina
Wolfcop replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
“Think of the defensive coordinators he’ll face, and how much they’ll emphasize putting good hits on him. I don’t see how that’s not a big factor when you put a grade on him.” Think of 6-8 Calais Campbell and 6-3 David Onyemata bull-rushing Young on the Atlanta defensive front—Campbell has 10 inches and 110 pounds on Young.” scary -

Perhaps. I have favored CJ since before the trade up, but the more Bryce Young I watch, the more I like him. The Panthers brass may feel the same and the events and meetings since the trade may have swayed them back to considering BY. Ultimately, I think I’ll still prefer CJ, but who knows what the Panthers will be thinking in 2 and a half weeks (getting closer). -
Dean Jones from CatCrave on Panthers #1 pick
Wolfcop replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Highly doubt there would be a trade until the Panthers are on the clock, or just before. The Texans would need to be convinced that the Panthers are about to take their guy. There is usually pretty good info leaked by then that Houston would feel good about. -

This was one of the best guests that Julian has had. Excellent info from Matt Miller. Good to know that Stroud was the one they traded up for. Doesn’t make him a lock, of course (see 49ers & Matt Jones). -
Who Wears What Number? (Future/change of pace thread)
Wolfcop replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
If Shaq plays hardball, Stroud could potentially wear 14 at first - that's what he did at OSU. Would also be a nod to Reich. -
David Newton: Panthers leaning toward Bryce Young
Wolfcop replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Newton isnt paying attention. There are a lot of people who have said that Stroud is the best pocket passer and most accurate...and he has a stronger arm. -

It sure seems that the Panthers may be trying to bait Houston into giving us 2 & 12 or 32. I mean, all of a sudden all this info is leaking that we want Young when there has been absolutely nothing before. Seems like something is brewing. -
Would love Stroud Intrigued but nervous about BY Very intrigued about AR IF our staff thinks they can get him where he needs to be throwing the ball. He would make an instant impact in the running game. Could turn into a better version of Lamar.

Pauline believes it's Stroud, but Reich wants AR
Wolfcop replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Stroud plays at about 214. Young plays at about 185. 30 pound difference, which will matter tremendously when they are hit. I would like to see CJ add some bulk, though. Obviously, neither can change their height. -
I know he meant the Lamar comparison as a positive, but Lamar is having a hard time finishing seasons. Probably not a great comparison. He was saying he favors Lamar in that he has a knack for avoiding big hits.

Bryce and CJ - competing in the Elite 11 (2019)

Been posted before, but it was very interesting to watch. -
Ok, who are we drafting?? lol

Dude barely talked about CJ. Just skipped right over him after saying he prefers Young.
