    It is all a guessing game at this point, but I foresee some struggles early and a run late in the season. I predict we will all be excited for the future at season's end. Whether that means we did enough to make the playoffs or not, I don't know. There are too many variables right now, but I think there is a legitimate reason for optimism with this team.

    And, we looked good against the Jets in the head to head practice BTW. People basically take 1 quarter of the first preseason game and decide we need to fire Reich. I’m exaggerating, but not by much.

    I need to take a break from the boards until Friday when we look much better against the Giants.

    This team doesn’t have to make the playoffs in year 1, but I’d be willing to bet my paycheck that everyone will be firmly on the bandwagon by season’s end.

    You know all this after one preseason game where there is zero scheming and our best pass rushers sat out. Gotcha

    Bryce impressed by getting up quickly after being hit hard at least 3 times. Defense wasnt horrible early on (bend dont break), especially considering our best pass rushers were not playing.

    Not sugar coating it. OL didnt do well, but they are better than they showed today. We could have done at least a tad more scheming than we did, which would have helped a lot.

    Yeah, kind of unrealistic to expect great things in PS game 1 from a brand new QB & staff against a really good D. I'd be willing to beat we will look a lot better next week.

    Still excited about Bryce. They will get the protection fixed.

    Keep in mind, this Jets D is really good.

    Don't go winless in the preseason just so we don't have to hear that narrative leading up to the opener. Other than that, it really does not matter. Stay healthy and build some momentum for the starting units.

    Those people on the field need to pay attention to the Panther before they get stepped on or eaten.

    Want to see Bryce move the ball some and not turn it over.

    Bryce talked in his presser about how each play has a go-to target. Love that concept.

    I would not have called PI there, but it was close. I have seen it called in similar plays.
