  1. Hindsight is 20/20, but Butker was a tough one.
  2. Agreed. Say it in the locker room, not to the sideline reporter.
  3. And with all the talk about dropped passes, Debo actually had more last year.
  4. Duke Johnson would be our 3rd best RB IMO. He had 2-100 yard games in the last 4 weeks last year if I’m looking at stats right.
  5. For a WR w 60/600, that’s a win. Especially one who can play multiple positions
  6. Can never have too many weapons. Some of you just like to complain.
  7. If the DL holds up, we may have a helll of a defense.
  8. I watched last week’s game on Panthers.com.
  9. I want to see a couple of scoring drives from the offense, especially since they will be going up against #2s.
  10. After seeing what New Orleans did with the cap for years, some still worry about it? The “cap” is a joke.
  11. If he plays well, he will most definitely be here next year - long term deal or tag.
  12. Resting the starters last week was the right decision. Rhule bashing is fine, but it gets silly with stuff like this.
  13. If we can run the ball, that will settle things down greatly.
  14. If you keep 3 QBs on the 53, you better feel real good about the potential of #3. That spot could be used for someone who helps you today, not 2-3 years from now.
  15. Let's see how the season goes. If Baker has a decent season, it will be a huge improvement over anything we have had since healthy Cam. That would be tough to turn your back on.
  16. Told yall it would be announced today.
  17. It’s Mayfield and it’ll likely be announced tomorrow.
  18. Josh Allen helps, too. A great QB makes coaches and GMs look good. Put Josh Allen on our roster and you’d all be singing the praises of Rhule and Fitt. Panthers need a break at QB.
  19. Corral may come back strong. He did not get many reps at all leading up to those 2 preseason games. He is an unknown at this point, but the strengths that made the Panthers draft him in the 3rd are still there. We will see. As far as Baker, the QB he was 2 years ago was not far from getting his team to the big game. Sometimes new scenery and a system change can spark something. We have seen that before in QBs like Jake. I think if Baker turns out to be the fit that Jake was, we will all be happy. This year is the year for him to show it if he is, though. If not, a new coaching staff will start fresh.
  20. He needs to get more solid. That does not guarantee he will stay healthy, of course.
