    I'm not even sure Wilks should be a DC after the embarrassing defensive effort last week with the NFCS on the line.

    Probably, but if DT can suck it up, he might actually get a team above .500 out of it. Imagine that! Now, Fitt and JH getting along shouldnt be a problem.

    To me, it’s a natural progression to sign Harbaugh. He needs a change and for us, he is as close to a sure thing as we can get. He may wear out his welcome at some point, but he is likely to product a winner. That is something we are desperate for. I am willing to accept the risks he brings in order to get back to winning seasons.

    Same reason as me. As a Panthers fan, it is the most excitement we get these days.

    Wilks had his chance…twice. We’ve been down the road of mediocre defensive coaches too many times.

    What about Harbaugh as HC and Wilkes as A/HC, DC (if he does not get hired elsewhere)?

    Just for the butt catch, I would give him at least another year.

    In Tepper's defense, what has he had to be happy about? And, the bottom line is, he gave Rhule more time than he would have received elsewhere. If anything, he was too patient. I don't think any coach going to an open job is going to have a perfect scenario. Of the current open jobs, Carolina probably gives a new coach the best combination of talent and draft picks to work with.

    Though I would directly benefit by this game being cancelled (I would lock up my FF Championship), I do not see it as fair to the other teams in contention for the top seeds. The game should be played IMO.

    Yeah, when tragedy occurs, people want to start looking for someone to be mad at. Bayless didn’t mean anything by the tweet. Every network will be discussing the reschedule/cancel debate tomorrow.

    I’d take the success he generates in 2-3 years everywhere he has been.

    If you look at recent history, most of the best QBs are being drafted in the range you are complaining about.

    Well, one of them (Wilkes/Ryans) coaches a good defense and one doesn’t.

    Well, it’s not like there are any openings with ideal circumstances. That’s why they have openings.
