  1. This exactly. Heck, if he did half of what he did Sunday he would have already been paid. He does not do it consistently. And, this is in poor taste coming off a loss.
  2. So you can tell his worth by his stature? Glad you weren’t the one deciding on whether to draft Joe Montana.
  3. Most people around here should find something else to do until about early November. Things will be looking much better by that point and you can get back on the bandwagon. Not saying we will make the playoffs, but it'll be trending up. The schedule lightens up and Bryce and crew will be gelling. The defense will also be hitting their stride, though they really played well enough to win yesterday sans no forced turnovers.
  4. I agree and so did most of the pundits who watched the game. You expect issues for rookie QBs, which were there. But Bryce is advanced in processing, which doesn’t always seem obvious to the casual observer.
  5. None of us know how good/bad the Panthers are or can be. The turnovers determined that game. We led in time of possession, first downs, yards, and most everything else other than turnovers and score. Rookie QBs take time but they will get it going.
  6. Yeah, I’m always going to support the Panthers, whether it’s 0-16 or 16-0. I don’t get as emotionally invested as I used to, but that’s just maturity IMO. Playing fantasy keeps me interested in all the games, though. The NFL in general is so much fun because of the parity. You don’t get that in college football. I mean, look at the Pats/Eagles game yesterday. Most every game hinges on a handful of plays that determine the outcome. Occasional 40-0 drubbings aside, things are usually very interesting every game.
  7. There are more important things now, like faith and family. I’ll always be a Panthers fan, but it doesn’t ruin my day if we lose like it used to. I do think Bryce will be on some winning teams and bring back some excitement. That’ll start later this season and build from there as they add weapons for him.
  8. That Burrow kid looked horrible today. Not an NFL level prospect. yeah…chill people
  9. Yep. He got fooled by an all pro safety. Bryce shows some very good processes ability. Expecting a flawless game from a rookie QB who has to play with low level skill players is unrealistic. I saw this coming. I also see a much better performance and a victory next week.
  10. Like I’ve been saying, we will get a stud WR in here next offseason (if not sooner). Panthers will be willing to pay a big contract to the top FAs.
  11. Excited for the future regardless of todays outcome. With everything new, it’ll take some time to gel. I’d give the Panthers a much better chance today if they were playing at home. I hope they surprise me.
  12. Where is that TE play that used to get posted every week?
  13. Not straight-up homie. Read dude.
  14. Yeah, kind of like you use when UNC players are involved.
  15. look at his stats. He is a #1 on this team and immediately adds a needed weapon.
  16. They are going to have to get Bryce a serious weapon next year. I think they will pay to do it.
  17. I missed that, but good idea!
  18. Trade for Burns and additional compensation? I would LOVE to get this guy on our roster.
  19. We need to use a chunk of that open cap next year to bring in a stud WR. Tee Higgins or someone of that caliber if we can get ‘em.
  20. Good grief, Chark. Glad we didn't pay him much. The Dude will find himself out of the league b/c he can't stay on the field.
  21. Agreed. I think it was a missed opportunity that we will all look back on with regret. Burns is a sexy young piece, but he has been one dimensional. He isn’t worth 30 million and those 2 firsts are going to be high picks.
  22. Happy for the Lions. I get tired of seeing KC win everything.
