You pick and choose facts to fit your nice little convenient narrative. If something doesn't fit, you ignore it or change the topic lol. Why do you purposely choose to ignore our 31-0 thrashing of the Seahawks (before we went conservative burn the clock mode) and our 49-15 thrashing of the Cardinals (when we stayed aggressive). Who cares about the regular season, even if you think we had a weak schedule. The most recent games against the best competition (2 teams who are probably better than the Broncos) are better examples to analyze.

What an underestimating statement. The point is that the defense doesn't know who has the football and that makes them hesitate. Plus, they have to account for one of the best running QBs in the history of the NFL. This was against the #6 run defense by the way. Seahawks were 1st in run defense when we played them in the divisional round. Panthers ran for 144 yards. Our running game is non-traditional. It's extremely unique, multidimensional, and dynamic. Coupled with the 6th ranked run blocking (per PFF) and the threat of Cam's downfield strikes, we can impose our will with our smashmouth running game on anyone, including Denver. Denver has only faced 2 top 10 rushing teams and got gashed by both: 113 rushing yards give up vs Vikings and 140, 102 rushing yards in 2 games vs Chiefs.

It's more that Wade Phillips current defense is built and schemed to handle statue pocket passers in a high volume passing offense and just a complementary running game. We're the complete opposite. We're a smashmouth offense (with the 2nd best O-line by PFF) predicated on a deceptive running game to set up the play action pass. Broncos shutting down Brady but allowing Luck to put up 27 and Ben R. to put up 34 on the Broncos is evidence of that. The Broncos only played 2 top 10 rushing offenses and got gashed by both. I'm confident we're going to counter their over-aggressive scheme with our running game. The media is doing their best to hype up the Broncos defense. It's really good but maybe equal if not slightly better than the Seahawks. Playing against the Seahawks has prepared the offense to play vs the Broncos defense. I don't think it will be a low scoring slugfest because our offense is so dynamic and is clicking right now. But, even if it is, we still have an excellent chance to pull away because their offense vs our defense is a huge mismatch. Our interior pressure will give a 39 year old Manning all sorts of problems. In a slugfest, the Broncos defense would wear down with our punishing running game and TOP advantage in the 2nd half, allowing us to pull away.

It's #1 in yards allowed. Points per game is a better indicator. By your logic, the Seahawks should have given us fits, but they didn't. The Seahawks were ranked #1 in ppg defense, Denver's 4th. The Seahawks ranked #1 in run defense, Denver's 3rd. The Panthers offense scored 24 points in the 1st half before going into run the clock conservative mode, which Rivera learned from and changed in the Cardinals game. Our deceptive running game will give the Broncos over-aggressive defense fits, neutralizing their pass rush and setting up some nice play-action downfield. The Broncos are not built to handle our offense, they're built for high volume passing offenses like the Patriots.

You keep repeating this point without backing it up. So, missing one player Mathieu makes their defense depleted? Didn't they annihilate the Packers and hold them to 8 points with that "depleted" defense? By your logic, the Panthers defense was "depleted" as well, missing Tillman, Benwikere, Jared Allen, and Thomas Davis for a half. But yet, they held the #1 yards/game offense to 15 points. I'd argue the Steelers were much more "depleted": missing the best WR (who had 186 yards/2 TDs vs the Broncos), missing Bell and Williams at RB. When Steelers had Brown and Williams, they put up 34 on the Broncos.

Seahawks fans are getting desperate. Yes, Wilson is a very accurate passer, but his ridiculously high completion % is hugely attributed to the West Coast offensive scheme the Seahawks run and a very sure-handed WR corps. Seahawks fans are using a list of metrics no one cares about, like DYAR/completion %/QBR, to argue for someone other than Cam. Hello, TDs are what actually wins you games and Cam has 45 total TDs, is leading the #1 scoring offense, and has led his team to a 15-1 record. I'm just glad since Brady and Palmer both lost, there's not even a debate and it basically forces the MVP voters to vote for Cam whether they like him or not.

The Giants defense is too bad to even give Eli/Beckham a chance to win. IMO, it's the Eagles. They've got the weapons and O-line to contest against Seattle. More importantly, they have the front 7 to disrupt Wilson. I also think Maxwell would want to play well against his previous team. If the Eagles beat the Cardinals, they will roll into the playoffs with some serious momentum. Remember this Eagles team somehow beat the Patriots in New England.

How long will the Vikings defense hang tough? Their 3 best players on D aren't playing: Joseph, Barr, or Smith. So far, so good.

How does the Cowboys' pass rush and running game look?

Where are the screen passes to RBs or bubble screen passes to WRs. Every other team uses them a ton every game, except us. They would be a great counter against the heavy blitzing.

Additionally, I love our version of the ball control offense with the no huddle. Keeps Cam in rhythm and allows him plenty of time to survey the defense, audible to the best play, and set the protections or run blocking just right.

Respect to Tony Dungy though. He has consistently stuck up for us.
