  1. if we can get even a situational pass rusher to take some heat off Burns and Horn and Jackson both stay healthy.... oh we mayne
  2. you don't tell me what to get my jimmies ruffled over pal
  3. That's the problem - he can't throw the ball with any sort of consistency so he is going to have to rely on his legs and a designed running attack to have any sort of consistent success or impact in the NFL.
  4. For those of you who clearly never watched AR play football in an actual game but still insist he's the second coming of Cam Newton (looking at you @rippadonn) - SEC Network is airing his master class against Kentucky last season. hint: it's terrible
  5. Exactly. They are not comparable at all. One was the best player in college football, the other was not even close. come get some size bros
  6. Breaking: player comps are lazy and useless
  7. His deliberate bashing of Charlotte FC bc “soccer” was enough for me
  8. Yeah but this afternoon will require us to hear that mouth breather Kyle Bailey
  9. It’s possible. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) we just aren’t in position as a franchise to take that kind of gamble. With the South winnable - it makes more sense for us to go with the day 1 starter.
  10. this; the membership practically pays for itself
  11. #1 is a lock #39 Fitt will be trying his hardest to trade down into the late 40s.
  12. it's times like these you know who actually watches SEC football on Saturdays
  13. Nice a great S2 paired with abysmal tape, 53% completion percentage and the frustrating inability to hit the routine checkdown. The workout warrior himself.
  14. Agreed, his size is 100% concerning - but it's a risk you just have to take after the trade up. Whether it works out or not is tbd, but it's hard not to be excited about the situation he's going to be walking into.
  15. You kind of have to get excited about him though. I look at it this way - had we just sat at #9, we'd be sitting here hoping and praying Stroud drops to us (he won't) after all this recent hooplah, or sitting here convincing ourselves that trading up for Will Levis or AR is worth it...while knowing the consensus "NFL ready" QB of this draft is simply out of reach. It just feel like - assuming our entire staff got on board with the consensus #1 pick - you pretty much have to be a little excited about it by comparison to where we were in February, knowing we'd have to settle for leftovers from other team's picks.
