You do realize he had a very costly fumble on a drive we were nearing the red zone right? One is a rookie making his first start on the road, the other is our most expensive FA acquisition and a “proven vet”.

He barely got hit yesterday. BY knows when to get the ball out to avoid contact, which he did.

Just like always, he is completely erased when matched up on a decent corner. Jaire Alexander shut him down yesterday. His QB sucks, but he isn't a world beater. Both things can be true in that he's played with some horrible quarterbacks and he leaves a lot to be desired on the field.

Chuba has always gotten too much hate. Likely due to the Rhule connection. He's a weapon as a runner but a liability catching the ball out of the backfield. He looked good yesterday.

The second one surprised me. I know he's a rookie and this was his first start, but as advertised "doesn't make the same mistake twice" didn't show itself on that. Nothing to panic over yet, this season will be a (ahem) process.
