I just don't think Bryce was anywhere near as bad as this board is making him out to be on Sunday. The fumble really hurt us, sure. But he made a couple of plays - including one "wow" moment on a crucial 3rd down conversion when he scrambled planted and delivered to keep a drive alive.

This "almost pick 6" was after the almost TD to Ian Thomas...at least be fair in your hot takes.

Bryce is taking way too much hate from this fanbase. That energy should be directed elsewhere. Tepper, Fitt, Reich. Until those 3 are out of the equation (I know, Tepper will never be) - it doesn't matter who is at QB for this team. Actually, yes - it was. I remember because they flipped the field from the section I was in right before the 3rd down play that should have been picked. If Thomas catches that ball, then the "pick 6" never happens. You can see it here too at the start of Q2:

I mean he threw a TD pass that Ian dirt bike Thomas tried to catch with his helmet. If Thomas catches that ball (I know, a major feat for him) the story is a little different.

CJ lighting it up makes the BY pick 100000x worse. It's one thing for the QB you take to bust. It's an entirely different animal when the guy you passed up which you had your pick of the litter is lighting it up.
