Plenty of terrible players who had exceptional skills. Given our line was horrible last year and why on gods earth we thought Darnald was going to play different in the same situation is beyond me. Still it's the QBs that have the knowledge that last. Sam just isn't great in the thinking department. It's why LA swapped Jared Goff for Mathew Stafford. Or old Tom Brady was better than crab man.

CB and LB is the easiest positions to evaluate. That's why Hurney always did well in the first round.

If this team had a reasonable HC he would just keep Cam and Darnald and draft OL or TE and build the offense inside out. I really doubt that will be the case and we will go boom or bust for the third year with another QB.

Usually if they are there they are expensive or from the Panthers who don't understand how to extend talent.
