As I said before the season started. This defense could be worse than last year. The draft and Rhules draft choices haven't been the best. I feel coaching is the main problem because it seems like not just one player but an entire unit doing terrible.

Yes anything is possible with this defense. We could be historically bad in the run department.

It's precaution. If he were seriously injured or close to serious he would be out till Friday and be a game time decision.

Yeah Football was meant to be played on Saturday and Sunday. It's how it was designed. Monday works but Thursday is just too short of a recovery time.

I would love a wed night game though. Would be hell on teams unfortunately.

Well the Giants don't have two of the best DEs in the league so I would say we will fair better on offensive. Defense however I seriously doubt we do better.

Yeah PA is actually detrimental if you don't set up the run first. We would have been better using draws but you still face two of the best DEs in the game either way. Defense really needed to win this game because of how good the Browns DEs we're and they didn't.

Is this after one game. Like at least wait till 4 games have been played.

I will admit when Rhule is right. Kid is a monster G that can swing to the outside.

I've not seen much out of the kid except the ability to get injured. He's definitely headed to bust territory but I would like to see what a new DC could do for him. Could completely be poor coaching.

Temper is new and most new owners screw up their first go around and he definitely is not an exception to this. He's in no way as bad as Dan the Man. Fitt is another to be seen. He came in knowing his role was to negotiate contracts and find Matt Rhule players. He's done that but at the end of the day it's still Matt Rhules team. Matt Rhule. He has been exactly how most collage coaches have been in the NFL. Very underwhelming. He's also why you don't give full roster and personal choices to any coach. Yes it sucks now but with a quality coach and coaching staff this could be a good team. It's not the end of the world it's just we keep getting salt to put in the wound that is Matt Rhule and Phil Snow. It's like working under and terrible boss that the owner likes. Until the owner changes nothing will.

I think the nerves you are talking about was a really good defense and a terrible game plan. Mayfield made the throws when they were there. Not using a Pro Bowl RB wasn't his fault either.

Our line vs one of the better ones in the league wasn't going to work out head to head. We needed to scheme around it with reverses, draws, and screens to take away the effectiveness of Garrett and Clowney. We didn't though. Our struggles were not about talent but coaching and preparedness.

Gap/power and zone can run either it's just a blocking system. What we did was just try and avoid their DEs which they planned on. You have to be creative in the NFL and if you're not you get Sunday.

That's what you get with a experienced NFL mind vs a college nobody.

And so would ATL. But the Panthers would have had 7 if they did not puss out. ATL and Sea were over aggressive. We on the other hand are not.
