    Eh it's actually the first year Rhule gets to work with his GM on personal decisions. Thus year one of rebuild and 6 more years of passes. Just saying...

    I honestly see this as year one. We were never going to truly rebuild with Hurney giving out mega deals to aging vets. Now we have a new coach and GM and hopefully a new direction.

    Yeah but Goff wasn't a MVP and did pass for 4000 yards almost every season. He has also been to the SB and has actually been in the playoffs unlike Stafford who just padded his stats every year. 2 firsts isn't outside the realm of a QB of his talent.

    Both the Rams and Eagles just took on huge hits so try something else. Falcons could rebuild with a new QB and a few firsts.

    I was more pointing to a trade. Plenty of teams would give up multiple firsts for Ryan.

    I really feel it's probably the best option. Next year we will have a bigger cap and much more room. Bridgewater isn't a QB that's going to win you many games but right now we are not a team that really can afford to give up draft picks and stop progressing.

    That reason alone may be why they are looking for a new QB. Getting Ryan off the balance sheet might be a priority.

    Won't matter much when we don't have any talent around them or did you miss the Cam era?

    Funny you brought that up. The Ram's are already showing the signs of lack of talent and that's why they are hunting and not finding anything.

    It wouldn't be that much if we were a mid tier team looking to win now. But we are not and that means we give up 4 improvements to our team. That doesn't last just 4 years. Look at now bad the Ram's are becoming because of it. It's a dumb move for a team that lacks talent. Not to mention shipping CMC away win mean we have even less talent.

    It's going to take us 5 years just to get back to the playoffs right now and that's just with poor drafting. Zero first round picks for 4 years would be triple that at the best.

    If we give up CMC and 4 1st round picks we will be in the cellar for decades.

    I'm not sure we are unless we luck out and get a CB as well. We are missing QB, CB, and OLD as of right now. It will be interesting to see how they approach that in FA and the draft.

    I just don't like trades like that unless it's a generational talent. Fields is a good QB and if we didn't win that Washington game I would definitely wanted him but the price is too high and we need picks.
