Look you have to see the whole picture. 1. Darnold is going to have games like this. It's his first season in a new system. 2. We are not going to be able to score more than 18 unless we get the OL figured out. Unfortunately the only way to change that is drafting well. 3. Until we get ST up to par this isn't going to be a good team either. It's year two and to expect greatness out of a team that was completely stripped of talent two years ago is a tall order. We will get there. Just not this year.

The butt hurt this week is strong. Even after I warned everyone last week.

They are better than they appear. Just a week ago you said my thread was stupid. Well... Here we are. We will beat the rubbish teams but nothing more. 500 at beat for year two. We loaded our defense but it doesn't matter if our Oline can't stop a wet napkin and our ST is not the right kind of special.

Let's move on from the middle of our line first.

Once our OLD was figured out it was a done deal. Just can't be a successful QB with pressure like he's seeing.

People some how blew off the last two weeks as nothing to worry about. We are still a great team. Yet not seeing the pointy elbow girls in the room(ST and OL).

Yeah another loss sucks and the world seems like it's about to end. Still we have a easy schedule ahead and the eagles were almost as good a team as the Cowboys. Yes both are Avg teams but sometimes when injuries bite and you're a avg team this happens. Things are not as lost as some might think and even could end up better than expected. Here are some of my thoughts moving forward. 1.Oline: This is by far the worst Oline I have seen a team field ever but Rhule is being forced by injuries to play guys who could be good to great in the future. We will consistently see teams run stunts on us because the Texans wrote the roadmap to beating our line. Dallas definitely perfected it and Philly just copied their paper. The Good news is we actually have the right Tackles where they should be now. If Brady and Rhule are smart they will leave it that way. We need to leave it and let the line gel. I would also like to see Brown beside Moton but I'm guessing injury is the only way we will. 2. Defense: while they really are not to blame for our losses getting our new CBs up to speed will take a few weeks. I feel we will see those TDs slowly become less and less with Henderson ,Jackson, and Gilmore gel. It's not ideal to be rebuilding early season but we can't help JC went down. 3. CMC: I really can't tell you how much he effects the game. Our loss today prob would have been a win if he was in there. Darnold is not ready to take a team on his back much less with a Oline not fit to block for a ACC team. Getting McCaffrey back will be a huge boost. Add in Tommy Tremble and we will have a pretty good attack when he's back. So yes my prediction is still the same. Yes I don't think a big losing streak is coming. I see us taking on a struggling Vikings team pretty well. Our next big test will be the Patriots and will be the bar on how well we have come. So don't melt down, know we are a building team that is probably going to end up around. 500 and relax and just enjoy the ups and downs of the rest of the season.

I said a week ago this was not a above. 500 team and got pooed 70 times. Now the poo people are ready to fire Rhule, Darnold, and Joe Brady. It's year two guys! We are not a playoff team yet.

I'm not going to talk good about Darnold again. His playing like crap today. Killed a TD and a 1st all in the same series.

Well I mean we can say that but both Brady and Rodgers got good coaching to begin with. I'm not sure Rookie Brady or Rodgers would fair better. Darnold has really good accuracy. Prob better than any QB we have had since Steve Beuerlein. I can't really tell you exactly how good his Football IQ is because he's only been in the system a short time.

Given even Aaron Rodgers would probably have that floor with what was given with the jets.

I mean I trust Fitt in negotiations. He got Moton under contract for a reasonable amount after a great season. I'm sure they have plans for all of them. Good GMs can dance on the cap year to year to keep a great unit. See the Saints and Ravens for examples.

I hope you're right. I mean I really really hope you're right. Even injecting BC in there isn't a great situation but I think a better one than Scott.

I mean it's great but the Oline is still the elephant in the room. We could be potentially starting Chris Scott at LT this week.

It's why I said kinda. We are 3-1 and they are 1-3 but we have faced pretty light schedule and they have faced a pretty rough one.

Scott would be a disaster so hopefully we get to see what Brady can do. I'm still feeling iffy about this game with all the injuries.

This is kinda a trap game for us. They are not a bad team and with our injuries it's not going to be a cakewalk.

That's about to change with Hurndog in charge.
