  1. Stop with all this good reasoning. You're an "idiot" and know less than the hopium addicts.
  2. We are talking hypothetical situations. These is no reason to speculate. My awnser is what it is in a hypothetical situation.
  3. You don't have to break it down for me. I know what I'm talking about. What shows me you know nothing about the situation is that you think Tepper wanted to be the bonder. Without writing a huge page on this and this is a large situation I will explain why Tepper became the bonding company and why that wasn't a favorable situation. Normally in a large construction project a bonding company is used to insure in case of default all contractors get paid. With the Rockhill project the city couldn't afford a bonding company and the state wasn't going to open up funds to make that possible. So Tepper took on that liability so the project couldn't move forward. Now he's under the microscope because as I assume Rockhill council mislead on how much capital they had for the project. So now the state is investigating him to see if he kept any of the states money and didn't pay the debts. I'm pretty sure Tepper kept meticulously good records because he was the bonding company. Thus why I said they will find nothing. They are hoping for a procedural mistake so they can open up civil litigation and remove fault of Rockhill. Because if they can't pierce the veil Rockhill will be exposed to litigation to all those contractors who didn't get paid.
  4. Because Rockhill has a large sway in the investigation. What I'm trying to point out is this is just a move to open up Tepper to litigation in civil court. They can't do that right now because the company is defunct. Only way to get to Tepper or make him settle is to use government power to force him to the table or get around his company so he can be sued directly.
  5. Rockhill has 4 councilman so don't sell me that it doesn't have a interest. Also I know what SLED is. I've worked with them many times. Rockhill wanted the project but ran out of money. This investigation is to see if state money was misused and it wasn't. What this is all about is opening up Tepper to a civil suit. What lawyers call "Piercing the corporate veil". I'm not going into detail about that because it would be above a lot of people's head.
  6. Hand in cookie jar how? It was Rockhill that torpedoed the deal. Tepper just wanted cheaper land. Fort Mill would have been more expensive but they could have afforded the project. Rockhill is the one trying to get a Windfall out of this.
  7. This guy is a major narcissist. Like he acts like he wasn't trying to win now yet he loaded up on players last year and loss draft capital to do so. If he was building for the long term why was he giving up picks? Not to mention he wasted picks two years in a row for Darnold and Mayfield. Everything he did screamed win now yet he was "building for the future". Give me a break. Go peddle your lies to the cornhuskers.
  8. If we're idiots and drop out of the top 10 we might as well go BPA and see what we have in Corral. His draft grade and anyone else in this weak class will be the same or worse.
  9. He's already in the Patriots HOF and PAC 10. If you're laughing about NFL HOF neither Roman Gabriel,Phil Sims,Steve McNair are in Canton. So you might not want to be an idiot.
  10. Teppers first wrong move was going to crack hill. Now they want their money back because they couldn't come up with all the money and tanked the project. Got to love how they get to run the investigation. I'm defending tepper on this one because he really didn't do anything wrong. It was Rockhill who couldn't come through. If they would have just put the training facility in Fort Mill this wouldn't have happened. Rockhill definitely fleeced him now they are trying to set up a civil situation where they can go after his personal money. Long story short welcome to local corruption and how it's never the governments fault.
  11. He should be committed to the state in lieu of a jail sentence.
  12. It does disturb my book reading and cheese eating. Maybe we can get more spa music so we can all be relaxed after the game.
  13. People forget the Pats already had a HOF QB before they drafted Brady. The way Rivera ran Cam you would have thought he would have done the same but nope.
  14. Just not wanting to risk your job making your division better. Kinda like not helping the guy who's shooting for your promotion.
  15. So you want a good QB but you also want to pick 15 to 20. Yup sounds legit.
  16. It happens all the time. Name the last team to even trade a player to a rival. It's very rare. Most teams won't even trade draft position with a rival team much less a SB winning coach.
  17. Just because you don't want to hear it doesn't make it true. Our record speaks for itself. The stats speak for themselves. Ignoring them doesn't make them go away. I don't want to tank, we are tanked. We have 4 wins this year my dude. All against sub 500 teams. What makes you think we are good enough to beat any good team?
  18. I don't feel like digging up tweets from him and McClover. They are cryptic anyway so you are just going to see it a different way. I'm pretty sure players don't hate Wilks but they want a culture change and good coaching which he can't really bring.
  19. Yeah keep thinking that my friend. You are the one that has devolved into name calling. Time to move on. This conversation has hit rock bottom and I don't care to kick rocks back at you.
  20. I think you're pretty safe. No way NO let's him in their division. Payton is going to make Herbert a HOF QB though.
  21. The players get paid millions to play a game. They don't need moral victories. What will make them really happy is adding good players around them and becoming a better team with a better coach next year. Burns has already said without saying if Wilks is the coach he's walking. He wants to win a SB and you don't do that getting wiped out of the playoffs round one. It's really sad so many of you cling to any victory you can. That's why tepper can keep underperforming GMs like Hurney and terrible coaches like Rhule. Because the fans will be happy with moral victories.
  22. Lol it was an example. Gaslighting is your go to because you are losing like the Panthers this year. Picking 20 is a sure fire way to stay mediocre when your team lacks talent. You should just stop now because your argument is thin and doesn't hold water.
  23. He's definitely had a good year and stayed healthy. I still think Fields would have been the better pick but Horn was definitely the safest.
  24. Oh so you CAN'T! Figures... You act like winning meaningless games is somehow a great thing and will make this team better but can't articulate how that exactly makes the team better. I didn't really expect you to actually give a articulate answer anyway because you're the type of guy that spends 1k on scratch offs every week and tells everyone about that one time you won 500 bucks. Given the two choices I will take the picks with a new coaching staff and new approach. I didn't make it where I have looking for instant gratification and that's why we are different.
